"Another Michelin Recommendation while we were in LA we were tasked with finding a restaurant that would be available on Christmas Day. Lunasia was the answer. We were pretty certain that we would have to try to get there at least 5 to 10 minutes prior to opening, to ensure that we wouldn’t have to wait as long, however, as we pulled up, the line was already pretty significant. We made our peace, put our names down on the Yelp Waitlist iPad they had, and waited patiently as opening time neared. Within 10-15 minutes we were sat.Everything was seamless. Ordering was done through our phones, you get to see pictures and costs, along with submitting your order. Amazing for us introverts. The only human contact is when delivering your dishes refilling tea.The dim sum was incredibly delicious and fresh. Ordering the duck was the move to ensure the protein goalz were met."

Sakura golden egg yolk buns were really good! Everything else we got was just ok. I feel like some stuff was it’s a bit overpriced here.

Food was good. However, the service was horrible. The reception staff had really bad attitude when we just asked for hot water. She said that is not her job. Maybe her job is just standing there and watching the customer.

A great entry to Dim Sum. Lunasia has an easy menu with the staples and favorites with pictures to help visualize the offerings. The orders are done through their dumpy proof order page. No carts, but speedy service. Prices are incredible reasonable making it easy to order a variety of foods and not breaking the bank.

This restaurant is a bustling and highly popular destination for dim sum. The line moves quickly, and it's definitely worth the wait. We particularly enjoyed the Shrimp Har Gow and BBQ Pork Bao. The pan-fried string beans were outstanding, as was the Mongolian-style beef. My favorite part of the meal was the Macao-style egg custard, which was a delightful way to finish! View menu

This is my first time at a dim sum restaurant, and I was impressed. The speed at which they bring you your food is unbelievable; you 'd think they had it waiting on a shelf before you walked in!Even though some of the food was a little too edgy for my simple Caucasian tastes (jellyfish, chicken feet), I would absolutely return. The variety and prices made it a great place to go with friends and do a family style sharing of small plates.

Wesley, our server, provided us with a barcode to scan so we could order from our phones. Despite the bustling environment and his many responsibilities, he delivered premium service. The food was of the same high quality we’ve come to expect from the Cerritos location, though some items on the menu were sold out. We managed to order our favorite dishes, but it took a little while for everything to arrive. In the end, we left thoroughly satisfied and had to take home some leftovers. Wesley was quick to provide us with plenty of takeout boxes. Overall, it was a great experience!
