"I can’t believe I didn't know about Ethio Beans until a month ago. I am so jazzed, I don't have to drive to Chicago anymore to get my fix of eating with injera generous portions of door wat, misir wat, and tibs. The space is simple, with a few tables, and some decorations, with a small shop where one can buy Ethiopian closing, coffee sets, and food ingredients. Service was warm and friendly, we had a nice conversation with the owner/cook/server about Erhiopia I got to share my experience when visiting my daughter in Aleltu. The food was fresh, cooked on the spot to order, flavorful, earthy, spicy, and fragrant. The Lentil Sambusas were crispy and flaky with a perfect ratio of pastry and filling. I will be coming back often, and perhaps ask for a Habesha coffee ceremony to enjoy with friends."
