This place is an incredible burger joint. You definitely need to try the Mallard burger—it's a must! It's our favorite spot to enjoy a delicious burger and a good beer. Their Mexican dishes are also fantastic, so be sure to try the Pozole!

Many excellent burger options, all of which can be swapped with Impossible burger. There are lots of other things on the menu but the burgers are so good I always end up getting them. I haven't tried the spiked shakes yet but I am very curious about them. Interesting beer selection.

Ordered from here for lunch at work. I got a mushroom bacon burger. SO greasy I felt like throwing up after I ate it. The fries were cold and they do have huge burgers, but if they're gross then what's the point? The fried onions were delicious, you get a pile of it. I ordered the clam chowder. Barely any clam! I've ordered from here plenty of times- the burgers are great! Today, I thought I'd have a couple drinks while I wait for a togo order. Well, I guess even though I sat at the bar, once I mentioned togo- no drink service for me- even though I asked to see the drink menu. The bartender spent most of the time expediting (no manager present) and never came back to me until he brought my order. Then the fries were stale/cold. The West Loop can be a bit of a zoo, especially on the weekend, but the Maillard offered a bit of respite from the chaos. The atmosphere was the epitome of chill. Beer selection varied and excellent. And their burgers. Wow. I had the privilege of eating El Jefe, and it was excellent. Succulent meat, perfectly toasted bread, accoutrements were excellent (pickles, cheese, sunny side up egg). Would've left a 5 star review as my GF son and I loved the burgers and fries BUT been there twice and the first time I had additional charges added to my card after I left. meaning they charged my card for the total plus tip and tried again to charge the tip on my card i had a total of three attempts. should've seen this as a major red flag but my GF decided she'd pay the second time and we split the bill this time my charges we correct and she now had three attempts on her card.
