"Whether you're driving through Ephraim or just nearby, you shouldn't miss this hidden gem of a restaurant. This small, family-owned establishment is the best place to eat in all of Sanpete County. Everything they serve is fresh, ensuring a delicious meal every time. If you visit at the right moment, you might even catch José or his wife Malena making tortillas right before your eyes. I absolutely love her sweet pork burrito, but I was recently impressed by her raspberry chip chicken. José and his staff are always friendly and professional, ready to accommodate any requests you may have."

Genuine Mexican cuisine. If you think it's comparable to Cafe Rio, then you probably shouldn't be reviewing any Mexican food. This place is outstanding!

I have consistently enjoyed excellent food from Malena's. They serve great, fresh dishes and are remarkably quick. The generous portions, wonderful aromas, and high quality of food make this place one of the best in town.

This place is even better than Cafe Rio! I absolutely love the pulled pork and salsa. Whether you prefer a quick pickup or want to sit down and enjoy the ambiance, it’s a great spot to relax with friends or family. It’s clean and has a nice atmosphere.

The food is incredibly delicious—fresh, simple, and yet bursting with flavor. I've sampled nearly everything on the menu and have always left feeling satisfied. The staff is not only helpful but also really friendly. It's definitely one of the best dining experiences I've had! View menu

I've loved their food since I was a kid! It’s always served hot and incredibly flavorful. If you're looking for a family-friendly spot, this is the place to be, although I don't think they have any toys for kids (at least none that I've noticed). Still, I'm sure your family will enjoy the delicious food!

I was looking for a good Mexican restaurant. I tried paintingna on a laune and because it was well checked. I ordered three entrees for my family and I. the aromen were good and the service was prompt. eating was not too spicy, which helped to bring out the aromes. I am satisfied with this little place and will certainly come back I wish it would be more convenient for my personal travel.

They have some fantastic dishes, especially their street tacos, which I really enjoyed. The salad is delicious, comparable to a Café Rio salad, but the only downside is that Café Rio offers a larger portion for the same price. I had a special dish, which was quite good, though it did come with a small amount of rice. Overall, it's a wonderful addition to the Mexican dining scene in Spanish Gabel! View menu

I ordered the sweet pork, but it turned out to be a bit too sweet for my taste. Next time, I plan to try the pork chili verde, Al Pastor, or carnitas instead. The burrito was massive; I was taken aback by the generous portion of pork, and then she added even more! All burritos are generously smothered without any extra charge. I think this is one of those places where it pays off to discover which ingredients you genuinely enjoy and to stick with those.

In town for work. Cinco de Mayo gotta get Mexican food. We went here because of the reviews. TBH it's not bad but not sure I would go back. The service was fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Think Cafe Rio or Costa Vida. Bu the food is bland not a hint of spice. Don't get me wrong I am not a fiery food kinda guy but I need a little bit more spice in my Mexican food. So if you think ketchup is spicy this is the place for you. Otherwise drive on by
