"I was looking for a lunch spot in the area and my parents wanted ramen. A comb through my bookmarks showed me Manichi Ramen, recommended by a co-worker, and it did not disappoint. We (party of four) got there on July 4th at 11:45ish and were seated immediately. There was probably one other table dining there and we were far enough away from them, which I appreciated. I guess the trick to dining in without crowds is to come on a holiday. We started with the karaage, and you can't really go wrong with that. It came out piping hot, crispy, and flavorful. We also got an order of the Garlic Butter Shrimp Gyoza, which seemed to be one of the more popular gyozas. I thought it was only okay. When the menu said garlic butter, I was expecting North Shore garlic shrimp vibes. But sadly, this was not that. Instead, it was more Trader Joe's gyoza vibes with a bunch of scallion and garlic paste on top. Luckily, the ramen was much better. After I had the curry nikutama over at Marugame Udon, I guess I was on a curry kick because I ended up ordering the creamy curry ramen here and I loved it. The broth was rich and flavorful but not TOO rich. The noodles were also cooked perfectly. Dad had the Volcano Tonkatsu ramen (too spicy for me, but he enjoyed it), and Mom and Hubby both had some variations of the miso (also great, but nothing unique). Overall, everything was pretty great. I liked that they had non-ramen options, such as donburi and udon. So if you have someone in your party who isn't really feeling ramen, there is something for them too. The other gyozas sound interesting too but after the garlic shrimp, I'm a bit skeptical. But that's not enough to stop me from coming back for some more ramen. There was also some special that caught my eye with curry/tomato/rice/meat, I don't really remember but they already got me there."

Ok, nothing to write home about. There are better Ramen restaurants the further you get from Waikiki in terms of serving size for price and flavor.Food: 3/5

This is genuinely my favorite restaurant in the world. Nothing compares to the ramen here, especially when paired with a refreshing Asahi. I truly adore this place. Thank you all! View menu

Basil parmesan is sooo good! I recommend you try this with ocean salad. Manichi Special is also good. Customer service is good here, authentic Japanese service to its best! Enjoy juicy guy Juanderers!

Overall a good place for ramen. Interior is nice and service is good. I got the manichi special and it tasted good, with good toppings and good noodle texture. Standard portion size but price is on the higher side for it. It was a nice experience but I probably won't become a regular.

Their Ramen never disappoints. It is worth the price you pay it leaves you wanting more. Their appetizers are the perfect starters to the main show, that yummy bowl of Ramen. You'll eat everything down to the soup. The environment is down to earth and a perfect match to the bowl of yummiest. A modern flair yet traditional and authentic. Love it there. View menu

I find their location quite convenient, and the restaurant itself is clean. However, the ramen soup was underwhelming compared to other places like Tanaka or Wagaya. This was my second visit, and I had hoped for an improvement in their food, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. As for the service, it was also lacking; the staff didn’t seem friendly at all. I recall a previous experience from years ago when the owner became quite upset with me for trying to enter through the street-side door, which has a small sign indicating it's for exit only. I just felt that they shouldn’t have reacted that way over something so minor.

Not a family friendly place at all. The manager, Chris Jon can be so hostile to a mom and child and come off very unprofessional. I was looking forward to coming here with my family. My toddler had an accident in the parking lot. I changed and rinsed him off in the parking lot. Then, I had my child sit on a chair outside of the restaurant where is safe and cars are not driving by, and I rinsed his feet and shoes with a bottle water before stepping inside the restaurant. The manager was sitting outside the whole time and saw me struggling. He also saw me walk around the side of the building to look for a water hose but didn 't find one. Instead of asking if I 'm okay or if there 's anything h...
