"Friends were visiting from Palm Springs staying in Agoura; we live in Northridge so tried to find something in between for dinner. The Commons is always a good meeting place we like the ambiance at Marmalade Cafe. It was a Saturday night altho it was busy our service was great. Our waiter said he was not a regular was brought in to help out. HE was Fabulous! Everything we ordered was 5 star! Especially the pot roast which sounded good but so sooo much better than we expected. More like large chunks of short ribs, so tender delicious sitting on mashed potatoes an amazing sauce ... but not dripping in a sauce or gravy. just perfect. Another rave that night was the chicken marsala, another perfect rendition of tender tasty morsels. Servings are all large, enough for leftovers or to share. The chocolate molten dessert was tasty but not enough molten for me. It was good enough for everyone to share a bite satisfy our sweet tooth, especially since it came with a scoop of ice cream. I've eaten here many times this was the best meal I've had there."

The food was not good. The artichoke spinach dip was a soup runny no taste. Crab cakes were flat and tasteless.

We had a great time to Marmelade café. We came twice, for the breakfast and lunch. The place is awesome, the service is nice. We really appreciate to eat and take our time there.

Eating at Marmalade Cafe was a wonderful experience! I enjoyed Marmalade's pasta special. The food was delicious, but was on the bland side. The waitstaff were extremely kind and courteous, however it did take a long time for our food to arrive. Overall, I would recommend Marmalade Cafe to my friends and family and will most likely return. View menu

We came to this café for the first time . When we arrived, we waited for 25 minutes for a waiter to finally take our order. After that, we waited for them to bring us drinks, even though they didn’t even offer water. The service was very poor. The manager came over and apologized . I couldn’t wait to leave after finishing my breakfast. We had quite an unpleasant experience at the café.

We've come here regularly for about a decade. It used to be great. But things have deteriorated quite a bit. From the worn and torn bench seats, to the constantly filthy silverware, to the cold food that reaches your table late. I even found an insect in my food last time. I hope they can get things together, I miss what this place used to offer. But we won't be eating here for a while...

I ordered a salad which contained a piece of rotten lettuce and a hair buried in the salad. The manager only deducted a couple dollars off my bill and try to argue with me that she didn't know whose hair. It was because the people preparing the food had short hair, and this was a long hair, almost insinuating that it was my hair. The waitress was rude. Brought us our bill. Even without asking if we wanted dessert and the coffee was not drinkable. Basically a terrible experience View menu

It's kind of weird that I never ate at Marmalade Cafe during the years I lived in Calabasas, but a friend suggested we meet there for breakfast last week, so eat there I did. We both ordered coffee and the Heart Healthy breakfast which included fruit and tasty granola topping on the pancake. The coffee was good. The service fine. The carpeting, though ugly, absorbs sound inside the restaurant so you can actually carry on a conversation with your meal companion. Yes, I recommend Marmalade.

Defenetly the restaurant needs a barista consulting The espresso was returned back (was not charged for it). It’s simply disrespectful to provide an espresso without créma (it looked like filtered coffee). And the waitress told me that this is the way it’s made in here. LOL The Americano we tried to mix it with hot milk to change the taste, but unfortunately, it could be no longer saved. Today Providing a burned (overroasted) coffee is a sign of a low quality product For the cappuccino 3/10 One star for orange juice….

"They do provide delivery through Restaurants on the Run, but for a hefty fee. Anarbagh offers free local delivery within a five-mile radius, or you can place a takeout order to enjoy a 15% discount. Be prepared for a small wait during dinner hours, as this place has become quite popular. The restaurant has recently been remodeled with new booths, stunning watercolor sky murals on the ceiling, and updated lighting. Street parking on Ventura Blvd. can be tricky, but there is free parking available at the back. The chicken tikka masala here is the best I’ve tasted, having tried it at numerous Indian restaurants across the country. The sauce is rich and creamy, with a wonderful blend of spices and tender, perfectly cooked chicken. One standout dish that I particularly love is the Lamb Mango Masala—tender chunks of lamb in a sauce that tastes like a blend of sweet BBQ and mango chutney. It’s delicious and a great option for those who claim they don’t like lamb. Their dinner for two is an incredible deal at under $40 and includes everything from appetizers and chicken tandoori to a meat curry, a vegetable dish, rice, naan bread, papads, chutney, dessert (gulab jamun, ice cream or baklava), and your choice of soft drinks or tea/coffee. There's also the occasional $10 off coupon in the local mail, which makes it even more appealing. My only wish is that they had a lunch buffet like many other Indian restaurants in the area, but their exceptional dinner offerings more than compensate for that."
