"We were passing by this area and checked Google Maps for restaurant suggestions. This one had a high rating and is a family restaurant so we decided to try it out. Emily was our server and she was amazing. She was very organized taking our orders and repeated them to make sure she had everything we wanted. The food is freshly made and we loved everything we tried. We were very surprised of how great the food tasted. We met Jose (the owner) and he was very friendly. I definitely recommend this place. The food is prepared as ordered so it is fair to wait to get exactly what you order. Thank you Emily. We had a great time and will come back again when we visit the area again."

"The ribs were incredibly tender, falling right off the bone, and packed with so much flavor that I didn't even need to add any sauce. The collard greens were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, and the baked beans had a delightful sweet and smoky taste that I really enjoyed. The portions were generous, and everyone was too full for dessert, but we did take home some chocolate and apple cake, which was equally amazing! The service was outstanding, with all the staff going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I don't say this often, but this restaurant is definitely worth a drive, even if you don’t live nearby. We will absolutely be returning!"
