"Not really open until 10 always. Was super excited to try it after spending hours trying to find a place my friend was okay with. Just wanted a quick bite. I guess if they are slow they close as early as 9. Made me think of all the nights I had to stay open until the posted time because the restaurant owners I worked for didn 't want to put '11 or until close M-W ' as I suggested, because they didn 't want people to show up and see me cleaning behind locked doors. I don 't mind if it has to happen for financial reasons, just list the end time as 'until close '"

"I enjoyed this place! The food was pretty good, especially for the price. The service was extremely nice, although our waitress could have come by to offer us water more often. The space is somewhat tight; I would estimate that the restaurant accommodates about 40-50 customers max. Of course parking is a hassle in this part of Long Beach, but there are some spots to be found after a bit of circling. The burger was very tasty and had some topping that seems like a mixture of caramelized onions and a semi sweet fruit or something. It really enhanced the flavor of the juicy patty! The carbonara flatbread was also quite good, but I wish it had more chunks of crispy pancetta!"

"This was a year anniversary and I put that in the booking but it was a nonevent when I got there the that service was good though we had the brussels sprouts and the big brie as an appetizer and that was fantastic we hot I had the c'est la vie and she had whatever the passion fruit drink was with whiskey those were both terrific downstairs when we went upstairs they were horrible like we didn't even want to drink them which was kind of a problem when we're getting them straight from the bar the main courses she got the prosciutto pizza but the vegetarian version and it was tasty I got the chicken sandwich and was definitely underwhelmed We were told we were going to be escorted upstairs for some reason but that didn't happen either so the night started out great and ended up meh"

"Saint Second offers a stylish and welcoming ambiance with top-notch service, but the food didn’t quite justify the price. The Pineapple Toast was essentially a standard French toast with candied pineapple—pleasant but unremarkable. The Madame Croquette leaned too heavily on salt and cheese, overpowering the dish. While the vibe and hospitality were excellent, the food itself was just okay for the cost. A visit for the experience, but not necessarily for the flavors."

"A nice cozy old school neighborhood diner offering very generous portions for a good price. My roommate and I both ate our fill and had leftovers for later. The breakfast burrito is a beastly, hefty delight smothered in cheese and all too big for a person to actually pick up and put in their mouth. Meanwhile the Cobb omelette was an unexpected delight, served with a biscuit the size of a small dogs head, and unbelievably crispy home fries, it made for a wonderful breakfast. Fully recommended, and you can bet I will be back again!"
