"It's everything you want in an old school Brooklyn luncheonette. Great coffee. Good food served fast and with friendly service. Usually room at the counter which is good because I'm usually alone. The only reason I WOULD have left off a star is because they don't have a public wifi. I really need that at the time that I go to lunch there. I decided to give five stars because these places are disappearing and I love them so much. Prices also totally reasonable. I love that these days."

I’ve been going to Mike’s for over a decade now. There are no better pancakes, and there service is top notch at all times. I’ve never ordered anything besides pancakes and bacon so if you read this and you like pancakes, go get them.

Brunch was served paper/plastic plates which was a shocker. The food was lazy and lacked any flavor even for a diner. Their rating on yelp is 4 1/2 ️ makes no sense to me. I suppose if your palate lacks adventure and knowledge you may enjoy it. The service wasn’t bad, our waiter was kind. This was my personal experience and opinion.
