"I would like this place more if it wasn’t for you be door staff. I order delivery a lot. 3 times all bad experiences. I came in person the security guard threatened to call the police on us before we were ordering food at the bar without an ID (Mind you the bartender confirmed we only ordered food not drinks and 2/3 members of our group actually did have ID). Today they tell me no “bodysuits” (I’m wearing a sleeveless pantsuit) in the middle of fall in 50 degree weather while it’s raining !! They make up imaginary reasons to discriminate against people they don’t racially want in. I deliver A LOT from this place but now I’m done because they don’t respect me at the door."

Excellent service and Korean food, enjoyed the ambience as well. The happy hour deals are really worth it.

Absolutely loved this place! My friend and I came during Tiger Hour which was a great deal. The food was so delicious, great service and the atmosphere was really chill but fun. Will definitely be back again soon!

The overall atmosphere of this bar was good, but they charged a $20 cover and then restricted access to the top floors. It's important to be transparent about limited access to certain areas before customers pay the full cover charge. It's not fair to charge an expensive cover and then only allow access to half of the floors.

The happy hour at Tiger Hour from 4-7pm offers half off on their delicious dumplings, which are definitely worth trying. The bulgogi was very flavorful and the prices were reasonable. The ambiance is great for having conversations, as it is not too loud and there was plenty of seating available when we visited around 6:40pm on a Thursday. View menu

Mikis Park in Chicago offers an amazing dining experience. The food is a delightful journey into authentic Korean bar cuisine, with standout options like their delicious Tiger Fries. The drinks selection, including authentic soju and makgeolli, is a rare gem in River North. The service is unparalleled, with some of the friendliest staff I've ever encountered.

Popped in late on a Friday night to get a to go order. The service and ambiance were amazing and lifted my mood after a long day of travel. The food is amazing! We ordered the KFC sandwich, kimchi fried rice, and K-popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken was super crispy and survived the walk back to my hotel in a container! Highly recommend, especially if it’s late!

I have visited this restaurant about twelve times in the last two years. Each time, the service and atmosphere have been great. It is easy to have a conversation when it is not crowded. The food was decent, but improved with the addition of sauce. The woman working there tonight had a great vibe, and shoutout to Eddie for being a great conversationalist. I will definitely continue to visit this place. Vegetarian options are plentiful and accommodating, but I cannot speak for vegans. View menu

This is one of the best bars in river north. Where do I start?1. Food is awesome. Very authentic Korean bar food and awesome fried chicken.2. Drinks are great. One of the only places in river north where you can get authentic soju and makgeolli. Reminds me of my nights in Seoul3. Atmosphere is chill. Super laid back and “tucked away” vibe that feels really intimate and hip4. Service is top notch. Waiters and bartenders are some of the friendliest I’ve ever encountered in my life. Would give 6 stars for service if I could.

The best food we have had in a long time. Food was perfectly prepared. We tried each other's food and it was all awesome. Whatever the kitchen is doing, I wish it was contagious, could use more chefs/cooks like what Miki's has.The service was fenominale, the drinks were the right mix of alcohol bite, with sweetness and bitterness. The small staff all seemed to really enjoy working here. The entry door, looks a bit sketchy and doesn't really look like a food place, or even a business, but open the door and go in. So much nicer inside.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
