"(accidentally posted this review from my other account- reposting here with the right account).SO WORTH IT.I visited Milkweed yesterday and man was it good! The portion was quite filling. I would say the flavor is spot on. We enjoyed a croissant sando and all the items we added were tasty. I only wish the sandwich was warmer? But I digress. The service was great and the food came out pretty quick. We went for a breakfast. The prices were reasonable (not crazy for boston) We essentially spent 60 bucks on two people and we each got two shareable plates, two individual plates and drinks. Parking was fine but then again we went on a Friday morning. Definitely go early.Parking: Parking wasn’t bad for a Friday morning. I imagine it does get busier. Go early and on a weekday!"

Super cute breakfast spot. The wait is a bit long but they do have an online wait list and it's very up to date. You can see the list live and you get a text when they are ready for you. Pancakes were great.Food: 4/5

Compact space with a no-frills vibe. Service was impressively fast. I tried the salmon cakes with grits and scrambled eggs; they were well-cooked but lacked seasoning. On the other hand, the French toast was fantastic! Overall, food rating: 4/5.

The brunch at this place is outstanding. The French toast is the best I've ever had, and the special Dutch pancake is a must-try. I highly recommend the power bowl as well. The long wait can be very frustrating, but if you can snag a table, the quality of the food and prices make it worth it. Food: 5/5

I went to this restaurant for lunch and tried the Spanish omelette. The meal was excellent and the portion size was generous for the price. The bread was particularly crispy and delicious! The omelette was fluffy and packed with filling. The potatoes were a bit cold and lacked flavor, but overall still decent. View menu

This restaurant is an excellent choice for brunch: the food is delicious, the coffee is great, the service is prompt, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is cozy. I’ve been there several times and tried nearly half of the menu, and I can confidently say that everything is superb! You really can’t go wrong with any selection. The French toast and power bowl are especially standout favorites.

This is the best muffin I have ever had!!!! The picture does not do it justice. It was incredibly delicious and satisfied all of my sweet cravings without being too rich. We didn't have enough time to try more, but we definitely want to go back. The staff was very friendly and efficient, and the restaurant itself was clean and nicely decorated. It is the perfect place for a quick bite or a longer meal!

Milkweed is a cute little place in Mission Hills and a decent spot to get brunch in the area. The menu isn't groundbreaking by any means (pretty standard American fare) but the food is solid and the wait staff is attentive and warm. It can get a little loud since the tables are close together if you're not sitting at a booth, but otherwise it was a good meal and I'd come back. I appreciate their breakfast being served well into the afternoon. View menu

I’ve eaten here more times than I can count on two hands. Every time I go in I always try something new and am never disappointed. No matter what you order on the menu it was be delicious. I would make sure to go a little earlier in the day if you plan on going on for breakfast. It is kind of small inside and if the wait is pretty long there’s a small donut/coffee place a few doors down that you can order a small donut to snack on while you wait for your table at Milkweed!

I visited this restaurant for a weeknight dinner and had a fantastic meal! I ordered the green curry salmon, which came with jasmine rice and bok choy. The salmon was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The green curry sauce was delicious, and the portion size was quite generous. The service was attentive (a big thanks to Alejandro), and my food arrived quickly. There were so many tempting options on the menu that I can’t wait to return! If you’re in the Mission Hill area, definitely check this place out—you won’t regret it!

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
