My sister and I go to this sushi restaurant approximately once a month, and our experiences have always been fantastic. I really admire how much attention they pay to the presentation of their dishes. In the summer, the outdoor patio is open, featuring a nice cover and shade that keeps it comfortable, even on hot or rainy days. We love experimenting with different rolls every visit, and we've never been disappointed. The spicy garlic edamame is a delicious appetizer choice as well.

This restaurant is an excellent choice for sushi lovers! The staff is friendly and accommodating, making for a pleasant dining experience, and the sushi itself is exceptional. I especially enjoyed the rainbow rolls, which had generous portions. However, the seating area is a bit cramped, so larger groups might struggle to sit comfortably. I rated it 4 stars because the spicy mayo was a little heavy on the mayo and lacking in spice, although it still tasted delicious. Just a heads up, it can get pricey if you order a lot. This is definitely my favorite Japanese restaurant in the Vancouver Metro area! My family and I have been regular customers for years, and my mother is actually friends with the owner, Kelly, who is such a wonderful person. The staff here are also fantastic, providing excellent service every time. The food is truly incredible—there's a great selection of sushi and other Japanese dishes. Personally, I'm a big fan of the beef yakiniku, and I highly recommend trying the green tea calamari appetizer. My family was excited to discover this restaurant since we've been craving Japanese cuisine and sushi. The lunch combos offer fantastic value, and my kids especially love the tempura, rolls, and noodles. We do wish chicken karaage, Japanese curry, and grilled mackerel were on the menu. Nevertheless, we make weekly visits because of the friendly service, efficient staff, cleanliness, and delicious food at a reasonable price. I hadn't visited Mio in a while, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The interior is very cozy, clean, and tidy, making it a lovely spot for a lunch or dinner. The portions are generous and everything tastes fresh. Their lunch specials are quite affordable, perfect for those on a budget who still want to enjoy good sushi. I ordered the bento box ($14.95) and salmon roe nigiri ($7.95). While the nigiri is a bit pricier than some other places, the quality and portion size definitely made it worth it!
