"FRAUDULENT and MISLEADING BEHAVIOR. I ordered a red velvet cake for Mother's Day and paid over the phone. When the pick-up date arrives, I get a phone call that the cake cannot be delivered because the delivery truck broke down. This was a minor inconvenience, but I, along with the entire family, were willing to make adjustments to our schedules so that we can time the cake's arrival with the festivities for Mother's Day. I had to call a few more times before I finally got the answer that the cake was ready for pick up. I rushed over, picked it up, and went back to the party. When we open it, the cake is not red velvet, as I had ordered, but instead it was vanilla. I then call Misha's Cupcakes and I am told that the manager will call me. About 30 minutes pass and I don't hear anything. I reach back out and I am told that the manager is too busy with orders and that she will call me the following day. This is horrible and unprofessional customer service. When a customer pays for a specific item and receives something else the least a manager could do is reach out, but apparently, Brandi is too busy with orders to call and try to rectify the issue. I was fortunate enough to call and speak to an Assistant Manager, Felix, who was very kind and informed me that I would be getting a refund the following day for the mistake. However, the cake could not be remade nor were there any red velvet cake options. The only option for red velvet was some cupcakes that Felix's store had, which is not what we ordered and would not have been sufficient for the party. As a result, there was no way of salvaging the mistake that Misha's Cupcakes made. The following day, I finally get a call back from Brandi who informs me that I am not entitled to a refund, despite what Felix had told me. Instead, Brandi tells me that she was too busy with 100 orders the previous day and that she was really busy, which is wonderful to hear, considering we were waiting to hear from Brandi the previous day sitting around this vanilla cake we didn't want. Appreciate that, Brandi especially when you don't care enough about ruining a special day for someone who was looking forward to a red velvet cake.What Misha's Cupcakes should have done is to make it up to a customer who has been purchasing from them for the last three years with another cake. If that wasn't possible, then issue me a refund. We had to throw away this vanilla cake that 1. wasn't ours and 2. we didn't even order. This isn't the way you treat a customer and you expect better from small local businesses that love to do podcast interviews and shine a light for FIU claiming they love to serve customers what they want.Do not order from Misha's and assume they are going to take care of you if they get your order wrong. Other establishments make things right by refunding the money or immediately getting you a replacement item."

Good cupcakes, however I was completely and intentionally ignored on their social media account, inbox AND email when asking a question. As someone that used to be a loyal customer that was not at all appreciated.

Omg!!!! DO NOT ORDER THE 12 PACK! DO NOT, YOU WILL EAT ALL OF THEM??? Forget discipline and will power, these little things are your master for 5 minutes if they even last that long. Please take it slow, eat one SLOWLY, breathe?, swallow and cherish it. If not, they'll all disappear and you'll hate yourself then order more then hate yourself some more for not having any dignity and self control. They're delicious and moist and made with love. I tried to make a special reservation but no one answered the phone. I left a message and sent emails, but received no response. I also reached out on Instagram but was ignored. It's a missed opportunity to attract more business. The website is not very user-friendly for ordering either. As a business owner myself, I understand that answering calls can be overwhelming, but it is important to respond to customers. Ignoring voicemails and emails shows a lack of respect and courtesy.

we visited north carolina for the birthday of my son. after mishas was asked with some others, was mentioned. after we see them online, a lot of aromen we decided to try misha’s. the cupcakes had a great taste and I liked the fact that they only came in mini-sized, unless they order for something else. the thing I wasn't after I was back in the apartment and the cupcakes 8 of the 12 ordered were hard and the icing on a couple had a terrible taste. ? I ordered 3 red velvet, 1 carrot, 2 oreo, 3 vanilla, 2 chocolate, 1 marble from the order 1 red velvet, 1 oreo, 1 vanilla, and 1 chocolate was fresh. bummer bc they seem to have a great taste.
