"this place is less row-shaped than the loop; a tad bit classier when they become. eating is the same over this chain so it is not better or worse here. it is just a more pleasant experience overall. vegans have some options here like a dedicated vegan taco with vegan groundbeef. they stopped with impossible meat and decided to stay locally in the besitz hungry planet beef (fka match meat.) even if I liked the impossible meat better, I can totally go behind the support of local small businesses (wives in possession, or at least they are earlier) it is a tacco, but they can change the toppings to make a vegan sort of taco flight. how to get vegan sides: the Zilantro rice and chopped salad are automatically vegan. the rice is ok, tasteful. Refried black beans are vegan when ordered sans queso. They taste a bit boring and just a little better when they mix them with the Zilantro rice. chile crusted pommes are vegan, they simply cannot have the accompanying baja sauce. guacamole is vegan when ordered without the queso fresco. there are more options for vegetarian, but vegans can easily manage here. it tends to get very expensive 3$4 per street taco. as soon as they order apps, a Taco flight, side and a drink, they are easy at 40-$50 person."

The best pizza in St Louis. Not the run-of-the-mill mune. Several crust options.

Love the thin crust pizza here. When we visit from Sacramento this is always on our list of places to stop. Colin was super helpful today.

Honestly, this was one of those scenarios where our Server, Juan, was the Best part of our experience. The food wasn't bad, it was alright.. But DEFINITELY Not 5 Stars Good ALL 5 Stars were earned by The Waiter that took care of us View menu

I went to St Louis several years ago and thought Pi Pizzeria was amazing. Went last week and while I still found it very good, it definitely wasn't as good as the first time. The flavors were just a little bland, especially the sauce.

Chicago-style pizza and cheese knots – a delightful symphony of flavors and textures! The deep-dish perfection paired with the cheesy indulgence in every knot is simply irresistible. As for the roast wing sauce, it seems to lack the punch of flavor one craves; perhaps a switch to BBQ sauce would elevate the experience to new heights!

I can't believe that this is the only Pi location left in St. Louis! The service was quick and friendly as always, the food was delicious, and it wasn't too crowded which created a peaceful dining atmosphere. In the past, we used to wait for hours at the other two locations, so it was a pleasant surprise to be able to walk right in. The spacious dining room and full-service bar were beautiful. The menu was just as great as ever, offering something for everyone. We ordered our usual favorites, the wings and the Delmar, which were prepared perfectly as always. Parking was easy, despite mostly street parking in the area, and it was a nice evening for a leisurely walk a few blocks to the restaur... View menu

This restaurant location is quieter than the one in the loop and has a slightly more upscale feel. The food is consistent with the rest of the chain, so it's not necessarily better or worse here. Overall, it's a more enjoyable dining experience. There are a few vegan options available, including a dedicated vegan taco made with vegan ground beef from locally owned Hungry Planet Beef. While I preferred the Impossible Meat, I appreciate supporting small, local businesses. The cilantro rice and chopped salad are automatically vegan, and the refried black beans can be ordered without queso to make them vegan as well. The Chile Crusted fries are vegan, but you can't have the baja sauce. Guacamole...

This place is less circular than the loop; a tad bit classier when you become. The food is the same over this chain so it is not better or worse here. It's just a more pleasant experience overall. Vegans have a few options here like a dedicated vegan taco with vegan base beef. They stopped using Impossible Meat and opted for locally owned Hungry Planet Beef (fka Match Meat). Although I liked the impossible meat better, I can get behind the support of local small businesses (women owned or at least earlier). It is a taco, but you can change the toppings to make a vegan variety of taco flight. WIE GET VEGAN SIDEs: The Zilantro rice and chopped salad are automatically vegan. The rice is ok, aro...

"My boyfriend and I came to this place during our visit to St. Louis after reading rave reviews about it online. We went in well-dressed and excited with high expectations, but unfortunately were left feeling extremely disappointed and underwhelmed. Dining at the restaurant definitely taught us a lot about the ozark history. I have a lot of respect for the time and enthusiasm the owner put into researching the history, arranging youtube videos, and conveying this information to the guests. His concerns about the environment and zero-waste efforts are also very laudable. His direct interactions with all of the guests and attempts to answer questions were refreshing. The food, however, was very lacking and mediocre. The concept of watching your food being made is fun and exciting. Understandably, they can’t make everything and plenty is prepared in advance. Except they really didn’t seem to make much of anything at all. A few grilled mushrooms here, and a delicate but also pompous plating there and that’s it. I know there’s probably a kitchen in the back and they work throughout the day as most kitchens do, but this gaudy element of pseudo showmanship missed a serious mark. Again, that’s fine. It’s an aesthetic and part of the bulrush experience. What annoys me is the price tag and the faint whiff of haughtiness that comes with it. The kitchen hands also looked apathetic, disinterested, and lacked focus. They didn’t look like professional chefs, just professional food assemblers. I did not trust that they knew to prepare food properly and that was evident in what was eventually served. The food was either too plain, too sour, too salty, or overall a very big disappointment. The steak had so many big chunks of fat in it that I was only able to eat about half of it. The poissants were cute but definitely not something I would pay that much money for, especially given that there were only about two small pieces of it on our plates. The beets, brussel sprouts, asparagus, fried onions that we were served, I can find and reproduce in my own kitchen. For the amount of money we paid, I expected a lot more flavor, unique ingredients, and creativity. I asked the owner why Ozark and he admitted it was an entrepreneurial strategy to stand out. He loved to repeat to our audience that night that “no one else” is doing it! Well when you taste the food you can kinda see why? I can’t deny though that the chefs know how to make something look appetizing in pictures. That’s what initially attracted us to the restaurant. The pretty platings and colorfully spectacular arrangements were what got us in the door. The experience has been worth it in the sense that for all that we paid for, we got a good lesson to not eat with our eyes, and a funny story to tell our friends back at home."
