"I booked Parker's Hilltop because it was in Clarkston and close to DTE Music theater and we were going to a concert. The place was very spacious and very nice! I would love to sit at the bar next time I come. The beer I had was amazing and the pierogis where delicious! Oh, and the fried pickles were soooooo good!!! This was a great place to enjoy some great food and drinks before hitting a show at DTE which is usually when I go out to Clarkston. Would definitely recommend to anyone"

"Super disappointed in this Crispelli's location. We've been to the other locations many times and always had great food but this was not the case at the Clarkson location. To begin the hostess seemed very confused. We asked for a high chair and she never brought it, we had to go get it ourselves. Then she did not bring a children's menu (we had a 2.5 yr old with us) and had to go ask for that. Next we meet our server who never told us her name and who seemed beyind angry. She was super abrasive with us and the table next to us from the start, not sure if it was because we were the 2 tables who had kids in her section but man she was not friendly. After placing our orders we had to flag her down because we never got a drink for the little one. The kids food came out about 15 mins before the rest of the food normal they ask if you want it that way, not assume. The food was just ok. The gluten free pizza was the worst I've had in a long time, so in the future I will stick with a salad and gf sandwich. We were charged $2.25 for tiny cups of ranch which we were not warned about and seem insane. I can buy a bottle of hidden valley for that. Our server never asked us how the food was and seemed very eager to get us to leave. I am really not sure what her problem was but she made for an uncomfortable dinner."

"for the first time I tried union woodshop on the way to a concert in the dte energy music theatre. the journey to the concert hall was a brise from here and lasted only about 5-10 minutes and without stout as there are when you approach the other direction. there was a 40-minute waiting time to take place, so we had an order that was ready exactly if it was appreciated that it would be ready and the order was correct. they were very generous with the keepers of the BBQ sauce, which are free on request. this place is ideal for carnivores, vegetarians and vegans. I ordered the pretender burger without cheese or mayo and substituted with vegetarian dirty rice for fries. I tried the memphis, curly and koreatown BBQ sauces. they describe curly as “very sharp” but who has lived in tx (as I am), it will probably not find it at all. it's good! koreatown reminded me of sweet acid sauce, but they could say it had a lot of fresh ingredients in it. the next day I used my rest as salat dress, but it would be really good with early roll or egg rolls. I used the Memphis sauce both on my burger and on the rice. I am a long-term vegan, but due to time restrictions and other factors, I have not asked to check that the rice and the burger bee were fully vegan, so if they don't want to consume something non-vegan, they are looking over this (and report back). it is much easier than most big cities, but it is in a “hip” area that can be a little busy. there are some free parallel parking, and a paid partie 1/h) over the street."

"Kruse’s Deer Lake Inn became my favorite restaurant in the area. They have some unique flavors (like their current harvest salad, the candied pecans, apples, bacon, goat cheese and a bacon vinegar that sounds questionable, but is quite delicious). And everything on the menu is great and they have a wide selection of dishes, depending on how I feel (Ribs, parmesan encrusted flounder, fish and chips, black chicken slaughter, Tortellini Pasta with chicken and palomino sauce). You always have a good desert on the menu also (the four berries crucifix is my favorite, and now it is apple crucifix). The service was absolutely amazing every time I was there, and the management was also exceptional."
