"I go to a restaurant for the food and the food at Mona Lisa was FANTASTIC. I want to go back now. The space is small and I expected it to be noisy for a group of people who are hard of hearing, but we found the noise level was low. Thoroughly enjoyed the time spent and the quality of food. The service was strong. Not just one person took care of us. I felt the entire staff was looking out for us. I will return and bring many others to Mona Lisa. Compliments to all and especially the chef."

Excellent place for Italian food in San Francisco. Mix their red and white sauces for a fantastic vodka like cheese sauce that is absolutely perfect on everything. Ravioli and gnocchi rule.

We had a delightful dinner with our two teen-age granddaughters. They chose Mona Lisa, having dined there once before. The food and service were excellent. We'll plan to go again the next time we are in San Francisco!

The eggplant was breaded and frozen, tasting like freezer burn or very stale breadcrumbs. It was too thin and tough like leather. The spinach, sauce, and other components were delicious, but the disappointing eggplant overshadowed everything else.

Whenever we are in San Francisco, we always enjoy visiting Mona Lisa. The staff is incredibly friendly and it seems like the owner is always present during dinner hours. The Italian food is delicious and the portions are generous. We always recommend Mona Lisa to our family and friends.

The service was great and the appetizers were delicious. However, the main course was just okay, especially the seafood dish which lacked flavor. My wife ordered the ravioli and did not enjoy it. Despite this, the service was excellent and the appetizers were great. I may consider returning, but I would probably try other restaurants in the area first.
