"total meh. the service was too slow. server was initially attentive and very friendly, but seemed “in the weeds” as it was seemingly slow. they had to remember some paintings that we had ordered and had not received yet. empty cocktails, wein, empty water jars too often. apps were great, kfc bao, spicy roasted, dumpling, edamame, seaweed salat. Bbq elements were simply okay. veggies had 0 seasonal, only raw vegetables. we waited for the rice and ssam to too long. had the meat and the sweet for a long time. it was not a cohesive meal. the buses were much too small to actually be divided between the 2-3 people recommended. we would try to get up if we ever decided to go back. but not back down, now we feel the need to go back."

bad service, eating was examined and really pretty dirty. music was very loud and made the conversation difficult.

The friend chicken mashed potato balls were amazing! Great, authentic Korean cuisine. Would recommend the upstairs restaurant as well as downstairs which has bbq style where you cook your food in front of you

The food was phenomenal but the service was extremely slow. We waited minutes to get our drink orders in and another hour to get our food order in. We waited almost hours all in all to receive our apps and main dishes View menu

Took an hour to get drinks, yes a solid hour. Issue was the drinks for sent to the wrong table, those people ended up with free drinks which was annoying. Open kitchen concept is cool but not when you see the Chef handling three different kinds of meat then tossing salads by hand View menu

Raw tuna was outstanding and the spicy chicken Bao buns were to die for! The bibim bam bowl was boring in comparison to the rest of our meal. Initial table service was quite slow but I think the server didn't have any bar support. The draft from the door in our section was chilly every time it opened. Overall very impressed with the food and will definitely come back

we went during the week and it was very quiet, but after the staff, his pretty busy at the weekend. I can say this will be a great Saturday evening experience; authentic Korean bbq with a beautiful presentation. food quality appeared very high and the staff was friendly. only complain are the price and speed of service. the bill for 2 persons was approx. 140 (for one of the BBQ plates.) also the service was very slow.

"A Portland Classic! Bruno's has been a staple for Italian Food! Hadn't been in years, so it seemed to be a perfect choice after a Bob Marley show. 9pm on a Wednesday night and the owners were on site as always. We were seated immediately and our server was right there. We ordered drinks and some Fried Calamari and Mozzarella Pomodoro for appetizers to share. The apps came out very quickly but our server was wanting us to order our entrees immediately. We accommodated and ordered dinner, but asked him not to fire them too quickly . Our salads were out in minutes, I asked him again to slow it down. The homemade dressings we chose (Blue Cheese and Poppy Seed) were wonderful. Unfortunately we only had 2 bites before our dinner was at the table. So we skipped eating our apps. We had a few bites of salad and then jumped into our dinners: Ravioli Verde and Chicken Marsala. The in-house made ravioli with a super silky ricotta filling and perfect sage butter was amazing. I wanted to hold each piece on my tongue just to celebrate the flavor. The Chicken Marasala was so tender and piled high with mushrooms and just the right amount of sauce. But just as we started enjoying our meals, we already had take out boxes on the table. Our server was definitely in a hurry .... we finished our entrees, boxed up our apps and I quickly asked for 2 cannolis to go. The check was on the table so fast that we were uncomfortable, so we took our boxes and left. THAT IS WHEN THE LIGHTBULB WENT OFF..... our server should have told us that the kitchen closes at 9:30 Had we known, we would have just had a drink and an app. The food is AMAZING but I dislike being hurried."
