"This place is really easy to miss it's tucked right behind (or in front of) Pitango bakery by the water. They have great outdoor seating overlooking the harbour, and cute indoor seating with traditional Japanese style tables. Food: fried tofu for appetizer: this was really great and I would definitely get it the next time I'm back. we tried a couple of their rolls (spicy tuna sunshine etc). you get about 8 rolls per plate. I did think the price was reasonable it all tasted really fresh and they don't overload the sushi with ingredients; the seafood still comes through very well. yaki soba vegetable noodles: for $9 it's pretty decent. Would I go back? Yes!"

The specialty rolls are outstanding and reasonably priced. I really enjoy the traditional Japanese seating inside. However, the decor could use a bit of an update.

Beautiful location! You can sit outside and enjoy the water front view. There is a Pirate ship that starts from there. The sushi was awesome and the taki sona was also ok(could have been better)

I can't recommend this sushi bar highly enough. It's undoubtedly one of the best in the city, located in Fells Point. The atmosphere is outstanding, both in terms of its appearance and ambiance.

As a sushi lover, I have to say this restaurant surpassed my expectations with its exceptional food and service. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the staff gladly accommodated all our special requests. The wine selection was impressive, the food was even more outstanding, and the prices were quite reasonable. View menu

The sushi at this restaurant is delicious and a refreshing change from the typical pubs, bistros, and other eateries in Fell's Point. All the fish tasted fresh and we particularly enjoyed their appetizers. The only suggestion I have is to be aware of the rolls with Old Bay seasoning as it can sometimes overpower the flavor of the sushi.

Overall the experience is good. Food is good. Don't have too high of expectation though: this is Baltimore after all. But it's one of the best sushi place in town hands down. We had a sashimi boat and it looks fancy, taste good but not great. Had a live sea urchin boat and it's very visual and somehow taste; and it's the biggest sea urchin I've ever seen, ever.

I want to mention that they serve nigiri with wasabi under the fish here. While it may be the traditional Japanese style, it surprised me a bit. The restaurant is situated right by the water and features tables where you can remove your shoes and enjoy the experience of placing your feet in a large pit beneath the table. The interior is quite charming, and they also offer a good selection of vegetarian rolls. View menu

I really enjoyed the Tokyo sushi from the menu, complete with fresh wasabi and gari! While the original dish has its own unique flavor, the twist they put on it makes it just as delicious. The yaki soba with fresh vegetables was great as well. The location is perfect for a laid-back weekend lunch. Just be sure to check the Sunday hours, as it opens at 2 PM. If you sit outside, you can also enjoy views of the pirate ship!

This Japanese restaurant was quite mediocre. We ordered takoyaki, unagi, and salmon rolls. The unagi was okay, but the takoyaki was overly chewy and had a strong fishy taste. The house salad was drenched in an inch and a half of watery dressing and consisted of just iceberg lettuce, carrots, and grape tomatoes. The service felt rushed, with three different servers attempting to take our order in just five minutes. The waitress didn't seem to have a good grasp of the menu. Overall, the entrees were disappointing, and I regretted dining here. I would suggest giving this place a miss and opting for another Japanese restaurant instead.

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
