"I've been here twice and the food blows me away every time. This is the most authentic Japanese experience you will find in Simi Valley, and even the greater SoCal area, and I have visited a lot of Japanese restaurants. The staff are extremely attentive and follow Japanese custom and mannerisms to a tee. Your water glass will never get low and you will always be treated as an esteemed guest. The feeling in the restaurant is calming, the music is nice modern hits and they did something with their speakers that lowers the vocals so the singing doesn't drown out your talking to your eating partner.Overall 02 Sushi gets my seal of approval. 100/100 plan your next dinner date here, you will love the entire experience from beginning to end, portions are generous, the staff is as kind and professional as they come and the ambiance will give you a calm welcoming vibe. The food is so good that you will be sad when you get full because you want to just keep going. You will leave feeling refreshed and already planning your next visit!"

Always so good. Make reservations to get in it gets busy. Fish is fresh and always abundant in every roll. Family of 4 are full after 4 rolls! Other sushi places, 8 rolls minimum.

Went there for first time today and was happy with the food and service. Got tempura shrimp CALIFORNIA roll on soy paper. White rice. Salad. Ice tea was tropical and excellent. Food was good. Best part was the attention we got from our waiter. Will definitely go back

I absolutely adore the food at this restaurant. It is consistently fantastic and fresh every time we visit. However, the service can be lacking at times. Despite this, we still make the trip up from the Valley just to eat there. Overall, I would give the food a perfect 5 out of 5 rating.

Seated right away on a Friday night! The service was so quick we got all of our food within 10-15 minutes. Not only was the fish super fresh but the servings were huge! The ginger was delicious??? The miso was perfectly salted, sometimes I feel like miso can be too salty. The yellowtail melted in our mouths. The Cajun tuna sashimi was the best we've ever had. If you like snapper, the snapper sushi is a must (pro-tip: request yuzu salt on it. our server Jacqueline was very attentive and personable. Pricing is fair for the quality. The restaurant itself was kept very clean. This is definitely our new go-to sushi spot!
