"so disappointing! I once again neglected to review the reviews. Something told me to go when I only saw two cars on the parking lot. where do I start? the fried garnels came out suspiciously quickly. Before I could say anything at all, my server says: “I know it was fast, but don’t worry that they are fresh.” the coating could have been a bit more crisp. I ordered lobster **** and filet mignon, with a baked carrot and salat, as well as a side of crab imperial suggested by the server. as others have said, the salat was just bagd iceberg salat on the plate strangely covered by one half of a dark green romain leaf, and salat dressing. I ordered my steak medium. it was good. for happiness because it had no taste and had a burned taste. I am not sure if they burned the speck in which he was wrapped or whether they burned the butter. when the server asked if I wanted it, I said no, know that it would not have been good, even if it was the right temperature. the crab imperial was a worrying chaos. I was not familiar with the court when I ordered it, but the server suggested it. I should have dropped when she said she couldn't describe it. Easy. the word “hot mayonnaise” would have been enough to despise me. this tired dish must be constantly rested. the kartoffel was hard. at two places I had to flee my poor to interrupt the waiting staff that had to chat with the bartender so that they could get the server for me. no manager ever came out and apologized for my failed meal, and they tried to load me after the steak and the crab imperial. I haven't eaten the lobster dick yet. To be honest, I'm afraid. the restaurant itself has a nostalgic classic that I love. but they give classics a bad name. When I left, I was the only one in the restaurant. I don't know how this place stays in business. make you like one and go to one of the many major restaurants in the historic fredericksburg."

Was a lovely Valentines Dinner! Our server was amazing and very attentive! I had the blackened Mahi Mahi topped with lump crab, 2 jumbo shrimp and my husband had the fried seafood platter. It all was fantastic!

I have never believed the phrase melts in your mouth when it comes to meat. I thought it was a fancy description resturaunts use to attract customers. Then I came here. The Prime Rib MELTED in my mouth and I got to taste all the flavor. The waiter was also super nice and very accomodating for my family. This was worth the trip and price!

this place has an excellent service (I would say in the top 5% of the burg) and very high quality food. expect them to pay for both, they do not pretend to be lavish that I saw, and they are not definitiv. great place for an important date, or an impressive business dinner. they have several rooms and they can rent one out if their party size justifies it. terry was excellent! This place has excellent service (I 'd say in the top 5% of the 'burg) and very high quality food. Do expect to pay for both of them, they don 't pretend to be bargain priced that I saw, and they definitely aren 't. Great place for an important date, or an impressive business dinner. They do have multiple rooms and you can rent one out if your party size justifies it. Terry was excellent!

We went to Olde Towne Steak and Seafood with friends to celebrate a good friend's 60th birthday. It had been a first for some of us and for some of our friends, well over a decade since they had been back. The food was fantastic! We all have very different palates and agreed the food was cooked perfectly to our requests. The service we received from our waitress was fantastic as well. We never had to wait for anything. recently I had dinner with extra-city guests in olde towne and expected the same excellent experience I had in the past. while eating and service fulfilled my expectations, the salate left much to wish. it was literally nothing but salate and that was not fresh. even the garnels at the threshold were distributed around the edges. bag salat would have been better than that. it would hate to lose a true jewel in the inner city of fredericksburg for bad salat. I'm not the only one disappointed.

we went with friends in olde towne steak and seafood to celebrate the 60th birthday of a good friend. it was a first for some of us and for some of our friends, well over a decade since they were back. the food was fantastic! we have all very different palate and agreed that eating was perfectly cooked for our desire. the service we received from our waitress was also fantastic. we never had to wait for something. the owner also made their way to our table to ask about our eating and service that they simply do not see anymore. I think we all agree that we will return.
