"My experience at Olive The World Bistro was exceptional. The restaurant has a European dining atmosphere, and we enjoyed sitting outside at a table decorated with plants while breathing in the fresh air. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, showing that the establishment not only cares about the quality of their food but also the health and overall experience of their customers. They offer classical Italian dishes, including homemade pastas, as well as a full plant-based menu. We started with the hummus and pistachio stuffed dates served with pineapple balsamic, and the bruschetta, both of which exceeded our expectations. The caprese sandwich was a standout, redefining what a vegan sandwich can be with its flavorful, saucy, and fresh ingredients, including the best vegan mozzarella I have ever had. My partner enjoyed the vegetarian wild mushroom and truffle ravioli, which was flavorful and divine. I highly recommend stopping at this restaurant if you are within a 50-mile radius."

Food and service were great. Lasagna was excellent. Not much seating inside but great quiet getaway. Also has good tapas and small plates.

We visited a charming restaurant located in the bustling downtown area of Tarpon Springs. Our server was lovely, and we enjoyed sampling a variety of delicious olive oils.

The food was really delicious, and the pairings of the balsamics they used made it even more amazing. We definitely have to go back here. We bought several balsamic vinegars, too.

Hello mates. This place sets the bar high for the rest. Food is just amazing and prices are good. I'm sure many people will find the portions on the small side but the flavor is so great.... highly recommended!!!! View menu

Today, my husband and I discovered a hidden gem! We tried three different appetizers and their delicious pot pies. We will definitely be coming back to sample more of their menu and bring along friends and family. You can't go wrong with any dish at this fantastic restaurant. We absolutely loved it!

Walking around Tarpon Springs downtown we found a jewel of establishment, where we had lunch. It is an adorable bistro on one of the brick side streets of downtown Tarpon Springs. Olive The World Bistro is a small European style restaurant. The owners, Chris and Gini, lived in Europe for 17 years and wanted their bistro to have the same old-world atmosphere. There is communal indoor seating at the restaurant, and outside seating on the brick sidewalk with potted plants. Half of the establishment is for lunch and dinner, and for the sale of olive oil and balsamic vinegar; and the other half is for tapas, wine and live jazz music. The restaurant has an European flair; it is a bistro with good...

This is a hidden gem in Tarpon Springs ! It is a small bistro with great food, and service. We have been here several times, the staff is always friendly and helpful. Everything is made fresh. They are happy to adjust menu items to fit your diet needs or preferences. We had the eggplant caponata, which was great, and the hummas and chips for starters. The gnocchi are wonderful as are the ravioli. The wine and beer selections are good and we loved the hibiscus iced tea. For dessert the cheesecakes are tasty and not too heavy and the gelato is creamy and delicious. We would encourage anyone who is in the area to give this place a try. Oh, and be sure and taste the many flavors of balsamic vine... View menu

"Tarpon Springs is an interesting place to visit. There 's an odd mix of tourists, locals, and out-of-towners that keeps the area feeling like a tourist trap, but still maintains a certain local charm. Being a settlement of the Greeks back in the day for sponge diving, there is certainly no shortage of Greek themed food establishments. Yeah, some famous named TV chef endorses this one restaurant, and some slightly famous food video blogger raves about another, blah blah. But there is a nice, slightly off the path gem called Costa 's right there in the center of town. First, the service. perfect every time. Nice, friendly, and prompt. Second, the prices are very reasonable. Third, the food is quite simply the best Greek/Mediterranean cuisine on the planet. Portions are more than sufficient to satisfy the largest appetites. Always start with the Saganaki (flaming cheese). We 've had so many wonderful dishes here. The Mousaka will blow your mind! The lamb shank can almost feed two. The Souvlaki (chicken or pork) is so juicy and tender and comes with a ton of garnishes. Their Greek salad is a work of art and comes with a dressing that nears a religious experience. Let 's talk Gyro meat for a second. There are so many variations and recipes for a good Gyro. But, Costa 's has the absolute best Gyro meat on the planet. The seasonings aren 't over bearing and the meat is always glistening with juices and so very tender. When in Tarpon Springs, get away from the dolphin cruise barkers and redundant tourist gift shops for a bit and sit your butt down at Costa 's for grub. You will NOT leave hungry, guaranteed. I would recommend doing a dolphin cruise, BEFORE eating though. There are no public facilities on Anclote Island and the accommodations on the dolphin cruises would be less than desirable for any such... needs ."
