"The other dish we tried was the Jawad Grill Combo, which offered a nice variety. It included generous chunks of meat, onions, and green peppers served over yellow rice. As for the side salad, it nicely represented the Greek/American/Mediterranean cuisine, mainly consisting of iceberg lettuce, fresh onions, a few tomato slices, and olives. Instead of Kalamata olives, there were Californian black olives and spicy, whole green olives in the Eastern style.
Everything we tasted reminded us of the Middle Eastern restaurants we've visited on Central Avenue, but this place is much closer to home. We're definitely planning to come back!"
