"Finally! Where are all the flesh and threes gone... right here! My mission is to find all these lost art divers... how our parents and grandparents made us go back when. I was glad we took Rick's advice and drive the 60 miles to try... We were not disappointed. This is a great repulsion to the 50's and 60's food we get earlier before fast food and chains are taken over. It happened Sunday to be our favorite day to taste mother and pops... they offered fried chicken or turkey, both with a big salad, dressing, and your choice of potato and vegetables for a small price of $7.29. My nabebie ordered the chicken, I ordered the turkey. The salad came out in time and was not a small one. It was cold, fresh and crisp, just as it should be, but only two minutes in this big salad came the participants.. I would like to have had more time to enjoy the salad, but this plate looked fantastic. My green beans were well seasoned with ham and onions, the potatoes were the real deal, the turkey moist, the peas liking to my nabebies, and the dinner rolls were some of the best dense, yeast rolls we had in a long time. The chicken was a hit too...we will make this from now on to Sunday places... as long as it always remains good... It's worth waiting if you don't sit on a way... and well worth the side trip of 55..."

Had breakfast with the family. The Dirty Omelet didn’t disappoint. Our server did her best despite having to cover 5 booths and 2 tables. Will definitely be back.

Very good comfort food for sure. We were on the road for 11 hours, got to town and decided to go here and eat. Sure glad we did. Very good food, pie was as well! We will sure be back here to eat when in the area , we're from South Dakota. Thank you

By far the best breakfast experience I have eaten since before the pandemic. The service was amazing! Our server was very attentive and professional. I ordered the chicken steak and eggs and every breakfast was perfect. The taste, the amount of food served, the cleanliness of the entire place. I will definitely return!

What a diner should be!. This is the great place to eat with homemade dishes and all locals hanging out there. You have to go a bit away from the Interstate, but it's worth it. I had a great chicken and rice soup and an excellent cooking salad for lunch. The coffee was good and hot and the service was professional. Very good Philly cheesesteak and parket chicken. The 2nd time was 9am on a Sunday. The restaurant was packed. We ordered breakfast and an appetizer and we we're fully prepared for a long wait. But the appetizer came out quick and hot. We just finished the appetizers and the food arrived. Very fast for being that packed. Once again, the food was amazing!
