I went there when the Old Man was still alive and I've never left. It's still the best BBQ on the East coast.

Very interesting place. Very different from other restaurants. All the seating is in door except the windows are all screened. So it's like being outdoors. Very different. Menus are posted on walls.

Really good food with friendly staff. Diving is a shielded veranda and was not overfilled. Take out is also available and seems to be a very popular option. Mac n cheese was made at home and delicious. Small plate with 3 pages was a lot. View menu

Myself and 4 other guys from Montana had dinner here tonight and it was amazing. We came to town to play in a Senior Softball USA Tournament of Champions softball tournament and by chance noticed this restaurant and it help make our trip very one to remember. It was fantastic food!

Great food, totally worth waiting for the end of the week. One glitch; The cash registers could be utilized more efficiently. Having a separate line for takeout and waiting for the walk-in register defeats the purpose of the separate line. Added the 2022 notice from the door for the annual end of season >start of next.

You can't get more authentic than Peebles! From New York to Texas and everywhere in between I can tell you, these are some top notch pork ribs. And the sides that go with it are above average as well! The dining area is a wonderful down home BBQ joint always full of people. Don't miss it! Mr. Peebles is a standout restaurant. If I could give it a 6-star rating, I absolutely would. The food is fantastic, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is reminiscent of a bygone America, but in an exceptional way. Mr. Strickland manages the smokers, while Mike provides the oak for that perfect flavor. The sides are homemade and delicious. Forget about chain restaurants—bring your family here for a truly great dining experience.

My husband and I recently visited this charming family-owned restaurant. The smoky flavor of the food was delightful, although I did find the meat to be a bit on the dry side. Overall, the food was fantastic and the sauces were outstanding— I particularly enjoyed the sweet sauce while my husband preferred the original. The portion sizes were reasonable and everything was well-prepared. We both really loved the baked beans as well. I would definitely return to this place, and the sweet tea was also quite enjoyable. It is a little pricey, but I truly adore this sweet little hidden gem in the neighborhood!

The restaurant was bustling with happy customers, and everyone was friendly enough that we ended up sharing a table. You can either order at the counter or opt for table service. Peebles has been serving BBQ for over 70 years, and it shows—they really know what they're doing. The atmosphere is very casual and relaxed, so feel free to come as you are.
