"We stopped by in-person after work and had the pleasure of chatting with the master roaster herself! Patti was so welcoming and had answers for our every question. Her knowledge and passion for coffee was off the charts. ?I was super pleased to find out that the Pfefferkorn team has ways to handle orders outside of business hours. Just give them a call or email them to find out what's been roasted that week (or even that day) and they'll guide you on pick-up afterhours. In addition to their variety of beans, the pricing is AMAZING in comparison to other options in the area. Ask for the neighbor discount if you're a local they'll hook you up. ??I'm so thrilled to have such an awesome roastery nearby. If you love flavourful coffee, Pfefferkorn's is a must try. ??"

We walked in by accident (google sent us to that place when we looked for a coffee shop to get a cup of coffee) and left with some amazing coffee beans. The owner was also very friendly and helpful in directing us to where we needed to go. Wish we lived closer, that coffee smells amazing!

Their selection of beans is fantastic, and the prices are amazing compared to other local options. If you’re a local, be sure to ask for the neighbor discount—they’ll take care of you! I’m so glad to have such a great roastery nearby. If you enjoy flavorful coffee, you absolutely have to try Pfefferkorn's!

Make sure to stop by this historic establishment. The ambiance transports you back to the 1980s with its wood paneling, vintage desks, and rotary phones—it's truly fantastic. And they serve the best espresso roast around. The staff is incredibly friendly and always enjoys chatting with local visitors who come in for their coffee. View menu

I had a wonderful experience at Pfefferkorn's. For years, I passed by their building every morning while working in Locust Point but never stopped in until last week. I'm so glad I finally did! The staff is incredibly friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable about coffee roasting. They have an impressive selection of blends that cater to a wide range of tastes. After brewing a few pots of their Best Gourmet blend, I'm completely sold and will definitely return every couple of weeks for more.

Such nice people, who are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to roasting coffee.Their selection is very extensive, with a number of blends that will appeal to just about anyone. After brewing a few pots of their Best Gourment blend, I am 100% sold and will definitely be back every couple of weeks to get more.

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
