"I've been to a number of Vietnamese restaurants over the years. This is one of my favorites. @pho21indy doesn't look like much from the outside, but they bring their A-game for the food. There are items on their menu that I've never seen at other Viet restaurants, and I like that because it makes them different and highlights a diverse food culture. Vietnamese food is more than Pho. Vietnam, like other southeast Asian countries, knows how to combine sweet, sour, spicy, crunchy, and tons of fresh herbs/veg to make complex yet balanced meals. I'm struggling to find a better spot in a 200 mile radius. For this review, I had the following: 1: Lotus Salad (Gòi Ngó Sen Tôm That) 2: Crispy Vietnamese Crepe (Bánh Xèo) 3: Grilled Tilapia w/ Banana Leaves (Cá Rô Phi Nuóng Lá Chuoi)"

I had the Pho special and my friend had the Seafood Wide Rice Noodles. Everything was great. I wish there was a restaurant in Central IL that came close to this. View menu

The food was exquisite and beautifully arranged. The service was outstanding. I'm marking this as one of the top Vietnamese restaurants in the US and one of my favorite spots. I travel all over the country.

I ordered the spring roll and the beef pho. The spring roll was a surprised. I think they have crispy things inside, which added some crunchy with the spring roll. Beef pho was good. Very clean restroom and dining area. Server is polite. Would recommend.

Absolutely fantastic! I ordered chicken wings and the number 7 spring rolls as appetizers to go. I apologize for not having a picture of the spring rolls—I devoured them so quickly that I forgot to snap a photo! Haha, and I'm also sorry about the chicken wing pictures; they're from LC Studios. My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the Indy region. This restaurant was the first place I ever tried Vietnamese food as well. It’s a comfortable family-owned restaurant to explore Vietnamese flavors! The restaurant itself is quite spacious, clean, with friendly staff! I believe I’ve seen a karaoke machine inside too!

I originally came looking for banh mi, but after spotting their crepes, I had to give them a try. I also sampled the bo la lot for the first time and found them reminiscent of dolmas. Everything was enjoyable. While the crepe was a bit bland, its texture and size were just right. The banh mi was delicious, though I wished the bread had a bit more crunch. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would return if I’m in the area again.

"My son was in from California so we wanted to take him to Tony’s. We have been before and think highly of the restaurant. Positives: Calamari, wedge, steaks and pasta were very good.Positives: My mother who is very picky loved her steak although she did send it back because it was not hot when it came to the table. She still raved about it even after that. That is really something.Negatives: Lobster tail was so over cooked it came out all curled up. It took me a minute to even figure it out. I sent it back. They asked if I wanted another one. I said “no”. I was getting full anyway so no reason to add another to the bill since they obviously do not know how to cook it. Suggestion if you don’t know how to cook it then take it off of the menuNegative: Preoccupied waiter. I would have gotten a glass of wine with dinner. Waiter never asked. I have been to Tony’s before and have had very attentive waiters. Not this time.Negative: Not Tony’s fault but a large table by us were drunk and very loud. Negative: I have no desire to come back. Their steaks are very good but if you can’t cook a lobster tail it puts Tony’s as a great steakhouse in Indy at the bottom of the list. Their credibility is gone to me. Suggestion: Bringing a nice piece of desert to the table on the house would have been a nice gesture and then I may have wanted to come back. They had a full house so a party of was probably not a priority"

"Inside, you’ll find seating at tables and the bar, along with a pleasant patio area that overlooks the sidewalk. They also have a self-serve water station in the front. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. I chose to sit at the bar, and it appeared to have not been wiped down all day. The floor was quite dirty as well. The staff did what was necessary, but seemed to lack enthusiasm. You can customize your own bowl or select one of their signature options. Feeling adventurous, I decided to create my own bowl. Regardless of your choice, you start with a base. I opted for traditional sushi rice over brown rice and spring mix salad. Next, I had to select a protein. The size of your bowl determines how many scoops you receive. The regular size allows for two scoops, so I chose one scoop of spicy tuna and one of marinated salmon, although options like octopus, tofu, and shrimp are also available. After that, you can add various toppings and sauces. I have to admit, my bowl was quite tasty and packed with protein. The atmosphere was relaxed, with music playing softly in the background. Unlike the other location I've visited, this one doesn't offer shaved ice, just poke. Overall, I found this place to be just average compared to other locations I've tried, which is why I’m giving it a 3-star rating. The poke was decent, but everything else felt pretty standard at best."
