"We are not from NYC and picked Piacere from Google and due to its proximity to a subway stop (and good reviews), but we were really glad we did! Phenomenal service, wonderful atmosphere, and some great Italian cuisine! No kids menu, but both my kids (7 and 9) found something they liked on the menu (Margherita Pizza and Chicken Milanese) and ate everything on their plates, which is a miracle because usually they just like Cheeseburgers and Ice Cream. Prices were reasonable. The desert we got was also excellent! Overall, a really great experience for us and our kids! Would recommend if you are looking for a great Italian meal that is a little off the beaten path!"

Pizza was burned in some places, and I felt it in taste, not only visually. They are accepting cash or Amex card.Food: 2/5

Pizza was nice. Wine was over priced… server was corrupt. Added a credit card fee of 10 bucks but wouldn’t take credit card… have the receipt to prove it. I wouldn’t go back. We told them this too so noting to hide. 2/10Food: 3/5

Piacere is always such a joy. It 's one of those places you wake up and say I really wanna go there today. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxed, the staff charming and the food so delicious that you can 't help but want to keep eating... And still leave not feeling stuffed, but satisfied!Food: 5/5

What a nice surprise. A rather discrète place off the most touristic streets. Short menu but excellent. It’s easy to cook pasta but it’s Ana et to cook the right ones with the good products. At Piacere they fully succeed. Service correct if not overly smiling. Prices slightly high but still acceptable given the quality. A good address. View menu

We enjoyed the pizza.. for my daughter best pizza ever.. Burrata dish was great as well..Service very atentative. One of my daughters got a little accident while we were eating, and the staff was very concerned and helpful.Kid-friendliness: We have 3 girls.. the youngest still having a lot of tantrums.. staff doesn't make u feel uncomfortable about it.

Granted we went on one of the hottest days of the year, but the table by the front window was so uncomfortably hot. We had to ask them to close the front door to give the ac a chance to work, which didn’t help. When I went up to go to the bathroom I discovered the back of the restaurant was so much cooler and comfortable so that was annoying. Very loud but all places are I suppose. The food was good! My pasta (mushroom spaghetti) was outstanding. Hubs got the ragu which needed salt but was decent. We shared a pizza as an app which was good but the crust was a little too thin imo and there was enough mozzarella.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
