"We had a reservation (which I highly recommend) we arrived a few minutes early and ordered a drink at the bar while we waited on our table. We had the pimento cheese as our appetizer, I ordered the shrimp and grits and my husband had the salmon and gumbo special. Everything was delicious! The restaurant is rustic casual and the tables are close together. We had a great conversation with the table next to us! Fun evening, atmosphere and great food!"

"There were no reservations available for inside so we sat outside, which was a great choice. It was great weather, quiet....much more so than inside when I went in later to look around. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. All in our party had the crabcake sandwich. It was pretty good but could have used a little more crab and less filling. My wife tried the house made sweet potato chips but they were pretty soft/soggy. I would have liked the option of sweet potato fries instead. I love bread pudding and make a pretty good one myself but the bread pudding that I got for dessert was more like a large soggy oatmeal muffin with some peaches on top and very little sauce. Bread pudding should have at least some "pudding" consistency in my opinion. Overall it was a good first outing to Amsterdam and I would go again"

"The service at this restaurant was the worst we have experienced in years. The server never offered refills and we had to ask each time, often waiting a long time for her to return to our table. She also left empty dishes on the table after we had finished our meal and ordered dessert. The dessert arrived before the dishes were cleared, which was disappointing. Despite the restaurant not being full, they added a gratuity to our bill because we were a party of over 6 people. Usually, we don't mind paying extra for good service, but in this case, we were not happy about it. If it weren't for the birthday celebration with friends, we would have asked for the gratuity to be removed. The bad service detracted from an otherwise enjoyable meal."

"We had a disappointing experience with the customer service. Our app wasn’t displaying the usual pickup screen for curbside orders, so we asked a staff member who was heading back inside if we needed to enter the restaurant since the app wasn’t functioning properly. She took down our order name, assured us it was no problem, and said she would check on our order and bring it out to us. However, we ended up waiting the entire duration of our lunch break (about 40 minutes) for the food, and the girl we spoke to never returned. We tried calling, and it took three attempts before someone answered, only to inform us that our food had been processed as a carry-out order, meaning we needed to come inside. I understand they can’t control the app's failure, but the staff member promised to check on our order and bring it to us, which she never did. Instead, we were left waiting for nothing, and by the time we finally got our food, it was completely cold."

"We enjoy Sushi Bistro about once a month. She is a huge fan of the Shrimp Tempura and had never been disappointed. I've sampled a much wider variety of the menu. All of the Sushi is high quality and well prepared. I've learned what I don't like based on my personal preference. We are looking forward to going again next time. They have expanded their seating area."
