"We dined at the restaurant on Saturday night, arriving for our 6:30 reservation, and we were seated immediately. After placing our order, we were served some bread that resembled pizza but without cheese. A large carafe of ice water on the table was a nice touch. Although the place was busy, the service was quite good. I had the clams with linguine, which was delicious, though I was disappointed to find two clearly broken shells in my dish. My husband tried the bruschetta veal Milanese, which was excellent, but unfortunately, the veal was overcooked."

We had a delicious birthday dinner. Our server was excellent, extremely attentive and friendly. The seafood pasta was excellent. We go her often and I was really happy with the food

One of my favorite pizza spots in Brooklyn. It's a true hidden gem. The pizza has a delightful crispiness, and the staff are incredibly friendly. There's also a dining area in the back where you can enjoy other dishes.

I really enjoy the pizza "sticks" as a substitute for bread. The sauce is fantastic, and I appreciate the good selection of reasonably priced wines. The ambiance of the place is great, too. However, I really dislike the parking situation! View menu

I've visited this Pizza D'amore and another location in Brooklyn. The food is exceptional. While prices have increased over the past year, they are still reasonable, and I believe the overall experience is worth every cent. The service is consistently excellent.

It's National Pasta Day, but at Pizza D'Amore, every day feels like a celebration! The portions are generous, the flavors are spot on, and they do a great job of following special requests. I ordered delivery through Uber Eats, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. We live near Brooklyn College in Midwood, and this is the only Italian restaurant we choose to order from in the area. Everything is made fresh to order!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
