This is by far the best restaurant to eat in Statesville. That is if you like good home cooking and super friendly waitresses. I go at least 2 a week and the girls have my drinks as soon as we walk in the door. Randy and his wife are awesome too!! You couldn't ask for better service!!!Food: 5/5

The food was great. I had to pulled pork sandwich with barbecue beans. Both were great.The service was fantastic. Very friendly waitress and the food arrived quickly. Cute atmosphere. So odd they don't take CC but they make sure it's posted every where so it's not a surprise. My daughter said their BBQ was very good. I really liked the Hush Puppies and Onion Rings. Patty Melt wasn't great, and neither was my sons grilled cheese and the fries were bland, but it's a BBQ place aafter all. They were busy and service was good.

Whenever I'm in Statesville, this restaurant is my top choice. I usually love their BBQ, but this time I opted for the daily special: Flounder, and it was incredible. If you're a fan of pork rinds, you’re in for a treat here. Randy's makes their own, and they are truly outstanding. If you happen to be in the Statesville area, I highly recommend stopping by Randy's for a meal.

Since the closing of the Troutman location, I've noticed a decline in quality at the Statesville branch. The food is not well-prepared, and they frequently overlook essentials like sauces or utensils. I've also had instances where they claim a certain menu item is unavailable, only to receive a call an hour later saying it’s suddenly available without any delivery. Overall, the experience was satisfactory, but our waitress appeared to prioritize her conversation with an older gentleman over attending to our table. Another waitress ended up bringing our food and provided us with better service. It was evident that our original waitress wasn't on break; she got up to clean a table and then went back to chatting with the man. I believe that good service deserves a tip, but I don’t feel it's right to tip someone who isn’t putting in the effort.

I don't know if this is appropriate or not but I had to say something. I read a review about how bad people of color are treated bad here. I came to Randy's in Statesville for the first time maybe a year ago. I am from Charlotte and I can't stop talking about this place. Oh by the way I am a black man. The first time I came I dine in. The food,Very service everything top notch! The next time I went I ordered carryout and while I waited I took pictures of place inside and out, because I was so impressed. I will not go near Statesville without going here.Very satisfied customers!
