"My order came out wrong, but bear with me, their customer service ROCKS! We came with our family a week ago at 11am on a Sunday. Everyone ordered their meal and I ordered the crispy chicken salad with ranch. within 13 minuets, all of our food came out. It was brought out by a food runner who promptly put the chicken strip basked down in front of me. I told him that I ordered the salad and he went to get our waiter. When our waiter returned, he began by apologizing for the mix up and asked again exactly what I wanted. I gave him the order and he made sure that it was expedited. Yall, he went above and beyond. He had already made sure that everyone in his section had been taken care of and was filling drinks left and right. He comped my meal (even though it was an honest mistake) and let us take home the chicken strip meal. He even offered us to go cups for all of our drinks. I truly enjoyed the customer service that we experienced. We will be coming back soon."

When we arrived in town, there weren't many restaurants open, so I was really grateful that Red Robin was open later. I wasn't in the mood for anything too heavy, and also...

"This is definitely not my favorite burger spot! We were quite disappointed with both the food and the service. Out of our seven orders, three were incorrect, and we will most likely not be returning."

Ok, just stopped for a drink with the wife before an appt. We sat in the bar. It was happy hour, which was nice. We had a few drink specials and some Yukon chips with beer cheese. Nice atmosphere, and the bar staff was great. We'll definitely be back for the happy hour... View menu

Red Robin is pretty consistently good, but not outstanding. Service is usually excellent though. My only real complaint is that no matter how fast my food comes to the table, it's never HOT. It's cooked well, and tastes good, but when you are 20 feet from the kitchen, your food should be hot.

The dining experience was decent, but the prices felt a bit high for the portion sizes. They've recently raised their prices, which is understandable given the current inflation. We requested a refill on the French fries and received only seven pieces. Overall, the food tasted good, but the cost was somewhat steep.

Great service (even when i spilled my root beer float). The food was excellent though everyone at my table received cold french fries with their meals. They quickly and courteously fixed the issue and brought new , hot fries out for everyone at my table. It wasnt as loud this time as i remember it being loud. I'll be going back. View menu

Best vegan burger and cauliflower boneless ever! I love that they have delicious vegan options and you can even make it healthy by replacing bun with lettuce. The service was a bit lousy because they gave me fries instead of broccoli, but they compensated by giving us more fries and broccoli haha Kettle chips are not good though. Loved the place!

It wasn't as good as it used to be. We had to request more fries and ended up waiting for a bit. The table we were at felt somewhat uncomfortable. Our waiter was polite and spoke well, although he seemed to be a bit overwhelmed at times. I found the prices a bit steep – our bill for two burgers, two children's meals, and drinks came to $70.00. I think I might take a break from this place for a while. The food was decent; it wasn't raw or overcooked, and it didn't have any strange flavors, which was a plus.

"For our appetizer, we chose the calamari, which was excellent. I noticed in other reviews that they provide a generous portion of marinara sauce, and I can confirm that. I'd much rather have too much than not enough! We typically order a couple of dishes to share, so we picked the redfish and a fried sampler platter. The fried shrimp was the best I've had in a long time, and the catfish was just to my liking. I prefer thinner fillets, as thicker ones can taste too "catfishy" for my palate. My dish came with fries, but I opted to add red beans and rice just to try them, and I was not disappointed. They use more tomato in their recipe than I'm accustomed to, but that gave it a wonderful flavor that I’ll definitely try to replicate at home. The other dish we ordered was the redfish topped with gumbo and crawfish tails, which had the perfect texture and flavor—I could eat it every day! We were too full for dessert, and we didn’t order drinks from the bar, but we appreciated that they serve filtered water. (It's surprising how many restaurants in Abilene skip this simple but significant detail.) Everyone at the restaurant was friendly. Our server was attentive and quick to clear away dirty dishes, which I really appreciated. The other servers in nearby sections were just as attentive and welcoming. When we arrived, there was a wait; they quoted us 20-25 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 10. Perhaps they gave us a longer estimate just in case, or maybe the large group that left in a huff cleared out the waiting area. Regardless, we didn’t mind waiting, especially after enjoying such a fantastic meal. The group that left included a man who was quite large and was yelling at the host while getting physical, which was uncalled for. His wife was egging him on. The manager handled the situation with remarkable politeness, even though the man was behaving like a petulant child. I believe in treating everyone with respect, and it's simply unacceptable for someone to intimidate another person, especially a woman half their size. The staff repeatedly apologized for the disturbance, which was unnecessary; they managed the situation with professionalism even though the rude guest didn’t deserve any courtesy. Thankfully, he eventually left, and everyone in the lobby applauded. We then went on to enjoy a lovely meal."

"I visited for the first time and entered through the back door near the parallel parking area, which left me a bit confused about where to place my order. Eventually, I made my way to the front where I found the register and the menu. My daughter was uncertain about what she wanted; the cashier was very patient with her. She initially wanted a bagel, but they were out, so she opted for chocolate cake instead. I ordered the chocolate zucchini bread. However, when my order was ready, I was informed that they were out of my daughter’s cake. They offered her what was left, and she settled for a cinnamon roll, mostly because she was hungry and didn’t have many options. At the food window, the cook returned a dime difference from my change, but I wasn't interested in it—I just wished the full menu had been available at 3 PM. The front room was uncomfortably hot, and I would have preferred to know that drinks were to be picked up at the register and food at a separate window. I felt a bit lost and awkward during the whole process, which could have benefited from better customer service. On a positive note, my daughter enjoyed the cinnamon roll. However, I found the zucchini bread a bit dry and overcooked for my taste. The macchiato was less sweet than I’m used to, and the same goes for my daughter’s vanilla frappuccino. This is just my personal experience, and we may give it another shot on a cooler evening. Thank you, even though we didn’t receive a “thank you, come back soon”—that's just how things go in Texas!"
