"I 've gone to this restaurant many times since it has been open. It has changed since their opening and definitely has their ups and down:Ups:*Food here is usually excellent here I ordered the 'son of the beast ' in this post. It was delightful, but black pepper bourbon sauce was likely too reduced to the point that it was a syrup and was slightly too sweet for my taste. It overpowered everything it touched. The butter/white wine sauce tamed it down, so I was able to eat most food. My husband had the pasta and obviously enjoyed it I wasn 't even able to try it! *environment is usually chill. They have live music sometimes stopped after the start of covid, but now starting up slowly . There is a nice patio and indoor/outdoor area when the weather is nice but often fills up quickly reservations are highly recommended *service. Usually great and attentive. They have a lot of spunk, but this day was relatively poor. Our server seemed to not care about us vs the other tables with young women. He didn 't listen to me when I request things several times, he didn 't know what liquor selection they had, he took away our drink menus didn 't even ask if we wanted more than our 1 we ordered and never gave us water. Yikes. Sorry if you had a bad day bro...*retail area is sweet.Downs:*they had a better beer/wine selection pre covid, but not so great anymore*The cigar lounge stinks up the place sometimes especially the cover patio area . I think they should invest in better ventilation in there...Overall, give it a try. Cheers!"

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Delicious food, the specials are always tasty. Great beer on tap, great wine selection and super friendly bartenders! We usually stop on the way out in their shop for a few bottles to take home. If you haven’t yet, definitely give this place a try!

Great value and a cozy atmosphere! The outdoor area features tables with a fireplace for smokers, which is a nice touch. The food is delicious, and there’s a wide selection of beers and other beverages. You’re sure to enjoy it, if not love it! I’ve booked the party room a couple of times for birthdays and a recent graduation celebration. As for accessibility, there’s an elevator to the party room, making it wheelchair-friendly. View menu

This place is one of the best places to get a truly satisfying culinary experience. I had the Son of the beast, and the combination of the whole plate was well put together and delicious. The steak with a rich smooth sauce melded seamlessly into the crispy potatoes and asparagus topped with a cream based savory sauce. The balance was excellent and left me craving for more even though I was full. This is gourmet food, with excellent service for a well deserved price!Well done you guys!

My husband and I were looking for a place close to home with a good selection of wines and stumbled upon this restaurant. The food was excellent! I had the chicken Marsala and my husband had the Son of the Beast Ribeye. Our waiter Henry was fantastic! Itwas our first time there and he made the experience enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable about which wines to pair with ourdinner and checked on us frequently. We have found a new place to dine and will be back and also requesting Mr. Henry!

For my husbands birthday we decided to try Red, Wine Brew. I made reservations via their website for the main lounge. When we arrive the hostess tried to sit us on the patio. I informed her that it was a special occasions and my reservations was for the main lounge area. Without hesitation she moved us to a high top table in the main lounge. Our waitress was nice and inviting. She joked with us and provided great service. The portions was great and everything tasted amazing!! We will be back. View menu

I tried a pumpkin martini based on our server's suggestion, and it was absolutely delightful—just a heads up if you're lactose intolerant, as it has a creamy consistency. I also ordered the chicken marsala, which the server recommended, and it was wonderful, perfectly balancing sweet and savory flavors. The prices are a bit on the higher end, but that seems common these days, and considering it's Mentor, they were about what I expected. Furthermore, the side salad I had was excellent. Overall, I would definitely come back. The only downside for me was the music; although it suited the crowd, I have a specific vibe I prefer while dining. However, that's just my personal taste and shouldn't b...

We chose Red, Wine, and Brew because we stayed at the Comfort Inn and they offered a discount for guests. It sounded interesting and we thought we would give it a try. We are so glad we did! This restaurant was fantastic and does not deserve the 3 1/2 stars. I am giving it 5 stars, because I can fault nothing. The food was good, the seating was comfortable (we sat by the fire), the music was the correct volume, it was clean, and it was appropriately priced. We visited this restaurant in a Lake Snow Effect Warning at 9pm on a Saturday night. I really have nothing negative to say. I usually say something negative so that you know that I am a real person. Ummm... it was snowing. Emily (our serv...

"This place should have a line out the door to eat here. Honestly, some of the best food (Thai or otherwise) I have had (speaking as a 300 pound man). It would not surprise me if, one day, it is considered easier to escape from Alcatraz back in the day than to get an open table here.I started with the spring rolls which were fresh and piping hot. The insides were perfectly peppered and the chili sauce served to complement well. For my main dish, I had the crispy chicken fried rice... where to start with this one???The chicken itself was juicy, cut-with-a-spoon-tender, salted perfectly, and with a nice, crisp breading that is fried to perfection. If Colonel Sanders were alive today, you would be getting KFC served a la Thai 999 Express. Now, for the rice itself. I ordered a level 4, and was warned it might be a bit much. I did get a little bead or two of sweat, but it wasn't overpowering. Mind you, I enjoy spicy foods and have built a tolerance. Your mileage may vary. As far as the taste quality of the rice, this is where Thai 999 Express earned its wings with me. I love fried rice, and I (perhaps unfairly) judge an Asian restaurant's quality by their fried rice (let's be honest, if a restaurant can't make good fried rice, it doesn't bode well for the rest of the menu). Thai 999 Express has, hands down, the absolite best fried rice I have ever had.If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and eat here. You're welcome."
