"I made a Valentines dinner reservation 2 weeks ahead of time to this restaurant because it was described as fine dining . When we arrived at the restaurant, I was very excited. There were candles lit and roses on the tables of the main dining area. Quiet music and the view of the lake was the perfect setting for a romantic Valentines dinner. However, upon checking in they did not have my name on the list, even though I had a confirmation number in the email on my phone. The hostess went to inform the manager, whom we never saw. The hostess was told to put them at the bar . We sat AT the bar, watching basketball for our romantic dinner. The guests behind us had obviously been there for awhile as they were very loud in their conversation. Our food was not even close to being worth $30 a plate, and there was absolutely NO fine dining ambiance. Worst decision of my life was to take my date to this restaurant."

Another enjoyable dinner and evening at Redwood. Thanks to Dylan, Ryan, Teresa, Amanda and all the staff, especially the kitchen:

This was our first experience in your restaurant and we were very satisfied with the food and service. We will definitely come back!

Great food. Steak delicious, cooked as ordered. Waited 30 min after sitting on waitress, then another 90 minutes for food. Waiter apologetic, but not attentive. View menu

I had expected to wait for our table when we arrived almost 30 minutes early, but we sat right away. Food was excellent and the view of the lake was great. Anyway, I'll come back.

Terrible experience! They did not have our reservation, the servers argued over who had to take our table (within our hearing), and after 45 minutes the server informed us she forgot to put in our order. The drinks we had were watered down and overpriced. Needless to say, we left without eating and plan to never return!

I would suggest asking whether a person wants hard signs on her steak if she ordered med well, or even made good. Can be normal for this kind of restaurant and cooking and many people like it, but not me. I ordered Cowboy cut med-med well and it was a good cut and perfect internal, I just had to hold the black characters. All three others at my party were happy with their meals. 1 buffalo meat, 1 duck, 1 Cobb salad. Cheers! View menu

Although it was New Years Eve, when we arrived the restaurant was not full and most people had their food. We waited about 20 minutes until someone acknowledged us and another 30 until we got our drinks. They had a limited menu which was fine, but they were out of a third of the things on the small menu. They messed up our drink order and our food order. The service was slow even by the time we left and we we were almost the only ones in the restaurant!

The building that the Redwood Firewood Grill has moved to has seen a lot of restaurants come and go. I have always loved the location and was excited to see a new place move in. I am happy to say my wife and I love it and have been there four times in the last three months. They are well staffed, the servers know the menu, and the atmosphere is great. Nice music and a stunning view of the lake. There are a number of very good restaurants in the area and the Grille is right up there. Can't wait for our first dinner on the deck this spring.

"Cerulean Restaurant has been an elevated dining experience in my life since summer 2008. At that time, their evening menu was entirely different than what is offered today (2023) — I can't speak much to their current dinner offerings. However, their lunch cuisine has remained consistent. Bento boxes has been their primary and staple lunch option, while adding poke bowls and more. As far as their bento mains, my two favorites are their salmon and panko chicken. SALMON fennel, mandarin, hoisin bbq sauce PANKO CHICKEN cranberry-ginger sauce, honey For sides, my top three are: ASIAN NOODLES red cabbage, carrot, scallion, peanut ORANGE ALMOND MIX mandarin, honey-balsamic, toasted almond, mint BROCCOLINI SALAD cranberry, bacon, scallion, sunflower seed, creamy vinaigrette When with a group, great starters (appetizers) are Cerulean's red pepper jam with toast and their Midwest cheeseboard — both are fantastic. Additionally, Cerulean has a great sushi menu. Personally, my favorite item they offer on their sushi menu is the Flying Fish roll. FLYING FISH smoked salmon, tempura fried broccolini, cucumber, cream cheese, jalapeño, avocado, tempura crunch, unagi sauce, spicy mayo Cerulean has a bar with great creative cocktails, an enclosed porch with a view of the Winona Lake canal and an outdoor Garden open in the summer and early fall. Highly recommend! *Images pulled from Cerulean's Facebook sushi roll pictured: Green Dragon Roll, tempura shrimp, cucumber, cream cheese, furikake and wasabi mayo Cerulean on Instagram: @ceruleanwinona"

"This was a delightful posh eatery that we happened to come across in our travels. We chose to stay in Warsaw last minute, and it was the perfect choice. We made reservations, but we ended up being about 10 minutes early, they still were able to get us seated quickly. Every employee that we encountered was delightful and spunky. The extra touches really made for a great experience. The next table 's server was explaining the special and it sounded amazing, but they ran out, so we weren 't able to try. The server still brought some airplane chicken for us as a fun joke (see photo . We chose to have the flight of bacon and cherries and cheese for starters. These could EASILY be a meal. My husband was slightly disappointed to see that the biscuit we had seen online was replaced with a packzi... until he tried it. The cherries and cheese tasted great, the cherries were large, and the bread 's crust was a bit harder to bite than I 'd have preferred but taste wins over any awkwardness while delving into the dish. My husband is a pretty meat and potatoes kinda guy, while I like to be more adventurous, the chef still made my husband 's meal quite the experience, the rib eye was juicy and tender and very flavorful and the fries it perched on were crispy and well seasoned. I chose the perch after our server recommended it when I was having a hard time choosing between the stoned duck and perch. The perch was okay, but the farro was what shined for me in the dish. I think I 'd definitely try the duck if our travels bring us here again. We couldn 't imagine stuffing ourselves any further (we already had several dishes wrapped so we didn 't try any dessert. Highly recommend"
