"Ambiance is great especially if you want views of the SF skyline. The staff were nice however the service was painfully slow and some of the servers were not familiar with the menu. We went of NYE pre fixe menu and there were only 2 options for mains and we opted for the bossam with 3 diff fillings. My family and I expected a rather decently sized amount of fillings and sauces with a few baos for each person. What came was literally a slice of each type of meet person and only 3 baos to share amongst 3 people. I was down right flabbergasted. So it seems like what we paid for was just 1 bao per person and 3 slice of meats/ mushroom. I had never expected this from an Asian inspired menu and never experienced this little of food even from the Michelin starred restaurants. My family did not have a great meal to end the night and ring in the new year unfortunately."

Great food and experience. Just very limited options for food and drinks, otherwise we loved this place

Fantastic concept, wonderful location, and absolutely stunning views! I just have one suggestion: it would be great to see a few more items added to the menu.

The view is good, but that’s about it. I hated my food, my boyfriend though liked his meal. The DJ was bad and way too loud- they were basically kids yelling into a mic. View menu

We loved Rise and Run! The mezcal cocktail I tried was so well-balanced and unique, plus all of the shareable bites were very enjoyable. Service was great too. Excited to come back!

great cocktails and decent appetizers. the food is definitely expensive, $10 for fries that weren’t a huge order at all and $18 for about 4oz of octopus but that’s expected. i would definitely go back for the drinks and views!

The service wasn't impressive. I had to request everything, including new utensils and plates for sharing dishes. There was no offer for another drink or coffee. I think I'll return, but only for drinks at the bar instead of table service. View menu

We had a great dinner at the restaurant. The food was fantastic, though the portions were a bit on the smaller side. The fried chicken was the best I've ever tasted, and the pork belly was outstanding. The tuna tartare was good as well, but I wish it had been a larger serving. The service was excellent! The staff was engaging, knowledgeable, and very thoughtful.

We were there for new years’ eve. Ambience, service and drinks are good. The food was special NY eve menu. It was a disappointment. The main course was served in paper basket like a fast food. Reminded me of KFC take out. The sauces were in take out containers as well. Very very disappointing. They could have just served it in real plates. The pre fix menu was highly overpriced when compared with ala cart menu that was an option also. Since ala crate did not have any good vegetarian selection, we ended up paying for overpriced pre fix menu, as it had to be same menu for everyone on table. Not sure why!

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
