I absolutely love this place! The gumbo is the best I've ever had. My daughter tried the crab cakes, and they were delicious. We also enjoyed avocado stuffed with a delightful crab mixture. Thank you for providing such fresh seafood!

The food is always fresh and delicious. I really appreciate that they peel the eggplant before frying it. The crab cakes were phenomenal, and the stuffed crabs are among the best I've ever had. The only disappointment was the corn fritters.

The food was delicious! I ordered the crab cake served with eggplant medallions, crusted fish, and fried shrimp. My friend enjoyed the fried soft-shell crabs. Our waiter, Hunter Duhon, was incredibly attentive to us. I can't wait to return! View menu

The food and the service was amazing!!! My wife and I sat outside for lunch on our anniversary. We had the fried green beans for the appetizer. My wife had the eggplant lunch and I had the Gouda Chicken. If we are ever back in Abbeville, we will definitely be back! Our waiter was Kaya and she took good care of us! View menu

We placed our orders, and soon after, Parker brought out our meals. I enjoyed the fried catfish with a stuffed potato, while my friend had the hamburger steak with French fries. The food was served hot, bursting with flavor, and the portions were generous. The food, service, and atmosphere were all simply perfect. I won't just pass by and admire the lovely building from the street anymore; I plan to make this a regular stop during my visits to Abbeville. A tad on the expensive side but you get what you pay for, and you pay for some really good food. Everything that hit the table was fresh and cooked perfectly, service was prompt and polite. I had the steak and the home style chips, both of which were spot on. The steak was medium rare, and perfectly juicy, the chips were fresh, hot, and crispy. Fried pickles and crab dip were amazing appetizers. And the bread pudding dessert was just right. My only drawback is the price, this makes it more of a special occasion place instead of a weekly date night Please like if you found the review helpful! Thank you!

My wife and I went there yesterday for our 19th anniversary. This was our first time visiting this restaurant. We got there at about 6:30pm on a Saturday night and the place was packed. We had to wait about 40 minutes for a table to be available, but that was fine because we were able to find a spot in the bar to have a few drinks and enjoy the ambiance while we waited. When our table was ready we ordered the lump crab meat crab dip as an appetizer. We were blown away! It was amazing! I ordered the tuna and my wife had the seafood eggplant stack. We were not disappointed! We will definitely be back! There were so many other things on the menu that we want to go back and try. View menu
