Solid Hawaiian food. Great Kauai beef burger and fries. Hawaiian plate: Kalua pork is pretty good, fresh poke. First time trying lomi sushi, similar to salsa; poi is similar to chinese red bean congee but more sour and starchy.

The wait staff was fast, the drink list was extensive and the entertainment was good. The prices were horrible! It's like a mix of San Francisco with Seattle prices at a fancy restaurant, but the food you received wasn't a lobster tail, but a small plate of nachos. If you're in a pinch, it isn't bad, but if you get 1 beer, an appetizer and a main, you're out $70 easily.

Now, let's talk about the people. Everyone was incredibly friendly, treating us like family. Dylan was our server on two occasions, and she was fantastic! She remembered our drinks and provided excellent recommendations. We also had the pleasure of meeting Chef Sabre Kennedy, who took time out of his day to chat with us. Excellent experience! Locals were very friendly and helpful in choosing our meals. Staff were friendly! I had stirfry which was amazing and I ate every morsel! My hubby had French dip and fries. The sandwich was awe, fries nothing special but the sandwich was delicious! A definite place to go. All meals were about $15 $20, typical of what we have found. But again not a tourist feel at all, locals eat here regularly.

I had the ribeye and it showed up covered in gravy, which was a little disconcerting because usually they hide a bad piece of meat under gravy. But it was delicious and cooked to perfection. My husband had the barbecue plate and he loved it. It's totalbar ambiance, and was super loud. But all in all we had a great time and the food was good..... service was pretty good too. They have wild chickens cruising around that are so cute. They have TVs everywhere too so you won't miss agame! Let's talk about the food and drinks ???? It's so Ono!!
