Their signature item is stunning gourmet caramel apples in every flavour you can imagine apple pie; cookies and cream; s'mores; English toffee; M bear cub (I don't think you will find these anywhere else ; peanut; salted pecan (aren't you salivating? ; chocolate dipped sea salt; chocolate nut; sprinkles; avalanche (marshmallows, crispy rice, and more ; pecan bear (another exclusive ; Reese's; and so on. They are made in store, so they are always fresh. They use Granny Smith apples. There are cases and shelves filled with chocolate delights. Back story: The founder, Frank Crail, was attracted by the idea of small town life for his family so he moved them from California to Durango, Colorado in 1981. He needed to make a living there. The town needed a car wash or a candy store. We know what he chose. Frank retired just two months ago after building his original tiny, downtown, Main Street candy shop into a international candy empire."
