I am not typically one for bar-style restaurants, but I recently decided to try out Sam's. I was pleasantly surprised. The food and service were both excellent. I have returned several times since.

we went to lunch, this place has been there since the 40s. I'm not easley impressed that I smiled. very clean place, clean toilets, wonderful eating. we met the waitress macee, excellent server, represented this facility very well. I think you need to be 21 years old to look at the pictures. we'll come back, or when I say we're back.

that is a place where we are. that was our first time. I was surprised when you came in, you have to go downstairs right away. beautiful, clean and cozy place. all were nice. we had to wait for a table that was about 10 minutes. our waitress did a great job. our food came out quickly. the pizza was delicious, but was surprised that it was not warm. our damn mary was fabulous.

This is exactly what I was looking for, without knowing I was looking for it. Down under street level, walked in to a friendly beer tender behind the bar, who offered us some seats right up front at the bar, took our drink order and suggested the pizza. Not really what I was in the mood for but I don't go against house recommendations. He didn't disappoint. I was DELICIOUS!! This place is now marked as one of my favorites. I will be back.
