"My husband and I hired Sensational Foods to cater our wedding in August 2018. We worked mainly with Conor and he is fantastic!!! My husband and I have very different food preferences and we were looking for a caterer to provide appetizers all night (everyone 's favorite part of the food at a wedding). Conor immediately told us about Sensational Foods ' offering of a standing wedding which included passed appetizers and food stations exactly the laid back and fun style we were looking for our big day! We were able to choose such a great variety of options for our guests (something for everyone); a clambake station, an Asian station, a slider station, plus the most amazing appetizers: crab cakes, mac and cheese balls, lambchops, veggie spring rolls, potato latkes, and scallops wrapped in bacon. Conor even helped to ease my very traditional parents ' concerns about having a standing wedding. My parents were blown away by the service and the delicious food at the tasting, where they agreed that we absolutely made the right choice to hire Sensational Foods to cater our wedding! From the very first phone call with Conor, he was amazingly attentive, provided excellent suggestions/alternates along the way to include my husband to be in every food aspect of the wedding (he has a vegan diet), handled the equipment rentals, and coordinated everything so seamlessly! The way Conor and his team interacted with the other vendors and especially our guests was unmatched! Our guests cannot stop talking about how wonderful Conor and his team were at our wedding from the beautiful set up in the reception hall, to assisting my aunt with our homemade chuppah and aisle runner, creating a delicious menu our guests can 't stop talking about (even a month later), making sure all of our guests with food restrictions had EXACTLY what they wanted to eat, and having such a positive and fun attitude throughout our wedding day Sensational Foods is by far the best vendor we hired for our wedding specifically due to how fabulous Conor is! A few days after the wedding we even found out about issues with other vendors that we hired. My husband and I never knew about them because of Conor, his quick thinking, and problem solving skills. We had no idea there were even any hiccups, never mind a major service issue with another vendor. Conor made sure our wedding day was perfect! Conor also went above and beyond his contracted responsibilities with setup, clean up, and coordinating all of the other vendors throughout the day. He has such a great vibe and friendly demeanor. When the photographer wasn 't sure how he could get the best cake cutting shot, Conor gave him a few options and quickly moved the ENTIRE dessert display into the dance floor for that perfect shot for us. Our wedding was perfect and that is mainly due to Conor and Sensational Foods!"

I was looking for a caterer for a Retirement Party. Conor replied to my my response left on their website. What I thought was a very positive phone conversation about the event, did not turn out that way. He led me to believe I would receive a proposal in the mail a few days later. Nothing came. I reached back out to him to make sure it was sent and no reply. I guess he screens potential clients by event or through the phone.

I booked Sensational Foods for my son's first holy communion this past Sunday. Since I had to be at church, they kindly took care of all the setup. I collaborated with Conor on the menu, and he and Michaela handled the party arrangements. Everyone had wonderful things to say about the food. I had a color theme for the event and requested blue frosting on the cupcakes; they turned out perfectly! In our home, the chicken parmesan is considered the best we've ever had.

I tried the plain bagel, muffin, chocolate croissant, danish, mixed fruits, and yogurt fruit cup with granola. Plain Bagel: Subpar. Too chewy. Muffin: Fluffy, moist, and tasty. This was my favorite of the things I tried. Chocolate Croissant: Good but nothing special. Quality is comparable to supermarket bought croissants rather than a fresh croissant from a bakery. Danish: Too sweet so I wasn’t a fan. Mixed Fruits: They weren’t that sweet, but you can never go wrong with fruits to balance out the heavier foods. Yogurt Fruit Cup and Granola: The portion size was good. The yogurt was very smooth. I would have preferred plain yogurt. The granola was very crunchy and good. They have a lot of dif... View menu

I used Sensation Foods Catering for a baby shower I planned back in July. Their name lives up to the hype, they are sensational! I worked with Logan, who was the most patient person on the planet as I changed the menu 3 times! Each time he was helpful and quickly sent out a new invoice. He worked within my budget and made great suggestions for food to fit our brunch theme. On the day of the event, the food arrive promptly and was setup very quickly. The delivery man (who's name unfortunately slips me) was super friends and helpful. The food itself was hot and delicious. There was no left overs, the guest loved it and many asked where we got it from. Clean up was easy as everything is disposa...

We initially intended to go with a family friend for our wedding reception catering, but we struggled to find someone who could provide that personal touch. Everything changed when we connected with the team at Sensational Foods. After sampling their amazing Mac and Cheese and Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese at the LGBTQ Rainbow Wedding Expo, we were sold. Logan Ferraro collaborated closely with us from the start, taking the time to listen to our ideas and crafting a menu that suited our diverse group of guests. The tasting felt like a warm meal at a friend's home, and the food was simply outstanding. Our family, with various dietary preferences, couldn't stop praising the tacos and cornbread...

"I haven't been here in several years and this place has changed the menu since then. They used to serve crepes, but it seems like that is no longer on the menu. I miss the crepes they used to serve, but this place still seems like an excellent local coffee shop with sandwiches.Service: I was greeted promptly as soon as I walked in even though the worker was busy making a drink. They take your name when you order at the counter in the middle of the cafe, and they call out your name when your individual items are ready to pick up from the counter. They do not serve dine-in orders within 30 minutes of closing. There are tables on either end of the cafe, but not much, so don't expect a seat during peak times.Coffee: Served as is, the hot latte was foamy and velvety without any bitterness. Even though my order was to go, I was surprised to still see latte art when I took the lid off.Food: I ordered the Otom sandwich, which includes egg, bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato spicy aioli, on your choice of bread. I chose to have on an everything bagel, which had a perfectly substantial amount of chewiness. The egg was overcooked and dry, but the rest of the ingredients, like the tomato and the aioli, covered up the dryness. The spicy aioli is mild but does add a nice small kick to the flavors. It is a fairly greasy and messy sandwich thanks to the bacon and aioli, so be sure to have a couple of napkins on hand. Overall, it was delicious."

"Great casual fine dining experience in a quiet Cambridge neighborhood.Took a visit here for dinner on a Saturday night. Its casual and rustic interior blended in perfectly with the atmosphere of the neighborhood, and our servers were very welcoming. We were initially planning to do the tasting menu, but the regular a la carte menu seemed too good to miss. We ended up ordering a bunch from their regular menu which turned out to be the right decision. The optional focaccia and rye bread with sweet scallion butter was an excellent start to the meal. From the appetizers, we had the kohlrabi cabbage, country terrine, and the scallop crudo. Topped with a mélange of earthy and floral ingredients, the scallop crudo was my favorite from the appetizers. Each bite was creamy and flavorful yet inexplicably light. Sprinkled with cranberries and spiced seeds, the kohlrabi and cabbage salad was also delightful. I especially loved the spiced seed toppings which added the right amount of nuttiness and crunchy texture.Saffron bigoli with leeks and clam sofrito had a slightly boring flavor profile, but the pappardelle verde with lamb sugo was phenomenal. I’m usually not a fan of mint toppings, but it managed to become a perfect complement to the lamb sugo. Subsequent 3 entrées were also amazing. Japanese-inspired soy marinated cod was perfectly tenderized, and its delicate texture paired well with the carrots and leeks soaked in dashi. Forking a concoction of chimichurri sauce, garlic purée, and grilled spring onion with tender pieces of beef teres major was also very satisfying. We finished off the meal with the carrot cake sundae and the lemon poppyseed cake. The dessert section lacked refined taste, but we still appreciated their effort to put something unique and interesting. Overall, a really enjoyable dinner experience at a reasonable price. Would definitely come back some day to try their tasting menu.Parking: Street parking available on Huron Ave Concord Ave"

"If you 're near Belmont, I recommend swinging by this little Armenian market to check out the treasures inside. I was looking up parking for Praline just a few streets down and saw ELB on the map and was immediately intrigued, having never heard of a lamejun before. I wish I had some more time to peruse the aisles but we walked away with some goodies: a bag of dried green lentils, some grape leaves, a meat lamejun, and two boxes of baklava. The baklava were a hit at the party we brought them to, though, of the two kinds we purchased, I preferred the smaller, rolled up, bite sized version (I looked it up the finger baklava. Very apt! . The second were these massive squares, sliced diagonally in half maybe the ozel kara baklava? They had a generous spread of crushed pistachios, my favorite nut; my only complaint was they were a tad hard to eat and divide into smaller portions. Now that I think about it some more, the better way to eat these would be to pop them in the oven so the honey melts just a little.I thought the grape leaves were all right, maybe too much on the sour and garlicky side for me. My husband loved them. Lamejun looks like a cross between a pizza and a savory pancake, topped with a layer of ground meat, tomatoes, herbs. They have three kinds here the traditional meat, a chicken (lower in sodium and cholesterol, as promised on the box , and a vegetarian. We went with the meat. I brought it to a party as the perfect snack. All you need is a few minutes in the broiler or the oven so the edges get perfectly golden brown crispy. For a dozen of these babies, it was about $25. I should 've asked the nice lady at the cashier if these are freezable. On my list for next time: the eggplant dip and beet salad, as well as the other kinds of baklava and turnovers. Near the cashier is also quite the selection of feta. (I don 't understand another review calling the arrangement of the items like a garage sale. Everything was pretty neatly organized and resembled any other small specialty market. Parking: lots of street options in front of the store."
