I had the mushroom vegetarian sandwich, and it was the best sandwich I've ever tasted. The quality of the bread, which I believe was sourdough, was outstanding.

The wait was worth it. Breakfast came hot and ready. The service was hands down excellent as well as the **** Mary. Oh! I forgot the coffee . I can smell it now. Smooth.

Lovely brunch at 1pm on a sunday, worth the 40 minute wait. We shared a Chilaquiles verde with house made chorizo and a side of potatoes; both were incredibly flavourful! The lavendar latte was pretty and, though a bit too sweet for my taste, enjoyable. Our server was friendly, attentive, and fast.

Amazing cozy Oakland breakfast spot. Come here for a great sit down breakfast complete with INCREDIBLE food and good vibes. Lots of good plant based options for veggie forward folks too. The line gets long on the weekends and they don?t take reservations, so come prepared to wait a few minutes or go early.

Best breakfast place in Oakland. There’s a plant based breakfast with delicious mushrooms, braised greens, spinach, hash, avocados and it’s just so amazingly done. Just go there—you'll love the food! The service is both friendly and professional. Parking can be a bit tricky, so I recommend visiting during the week to avoid the weekend rush. I really appreciate that the menu changes, and the vanilla bean latte is a definite winner! I've been there several times and will definitely return!

Nice place with a great atmosphere, but the food has wanted something. We were hopeful because waiting for a table was not too bad, but we waited longer for our food than needed to get the table. When our food finally arrived, it was disappointing. Apparently they have big, fresh ingredients, but I found the food to bland and be easy. It is great that they have many vegetarian/vegan options, but that in themselves not for moderate culinary execution and small portions, especially at their price points. I live just around the corner and have visited this diner twice since it opened. Unfortunately, both times I left feeling frustrated and exhausted. While the staff and food are great, the long wait times really detracted from the experience. We were informed that the wait would be around 30 to 40 minutes, and we accepted that. However, after waiting outside for an hour, we were ready to leave when the host came out to take our order, so we decided to stay. After waiting 80 minutes, we finally got to sit down, but then it was another 20 minutes before our food arrived.
