far too expensive .... much too expensive for the quality and quantity of food! have I also mentioned a lot about price for rude service?

We had really good sushi at Shiro Kuma. We had other sushi restaurants in / around Larkspur tried and they were meh or meh and wow that was expensive! This place is good, and we've made multiple visits because its within walking distance. It has a solid menu, and you can get a lot of stuff for a reasonable price. They have a nice variety of rolls and special rolls, plus teriyaki and tempura, as well as a handful of yummy side dishes. And it's a nice little atmosphere when you eat inside too.

This sushi restaurant stands out from others in the area. The sushi is incredibly fresh and uniquely delicious, giving me the feeling as if I were dining in Japan. My top choices are the Kuma Low Carb wrapped in cucumber, Ichiban Fried Roll, and Lucky Lotus Kuma Treat. I was disappointed to learn that they are no longer available on delivery apps, but I can still order for pick up using the Toast app.

The restaurant experience was average. I won't nitpick because I understand times are tough. The restaurant was not very busy when I arrived as a party of one. They reserved larger tables for dinner crowds, so I was seated at a smaller table in a less desirable area. The menu had good options, but they were out of red wine and some beer choices. Best sushi in town. Have been going since they opened years ago and never been disappointed. Fresh, flavorful, unique rolls. Service is attentive and considerate. Ambiance is calm, clean. Azteca roll is crisp and unique- fresh hibachi flavor with picked carrot and asparagus, with thin sliced fresh jalapeño and fish egg will forever be something I craveOkinawa, Habachi Asparagus, Kuma Over The Rainbow.. can't go wrong. I've brought guests from all over here and everyone loved it. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely beautiful time in Shiro Kuma. It wasn't too busy. I sat right away. Chairs are comfortable, table was clean. A nice sampling of her sushi to try a bit of everything. The Miso was hot pierced and the edamame was beautifully salted, not too heavy. I couldn't help but start enjoying the Miso and edamame before I get this picture! The dining area with more guests picked up, the speed and care of the staff did not decrease easily. They were attentive and refilled drinks before they had to be asked. Highly recommend. Shiro Kuma has the best customer service I have experienced in Marin County, and I do not say that lightly. As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted. As soon as we sat down, we were brought menus, and our drink order was taken. Within a reasonable period time, someone came to take our initial order. My husband dropped a napkin, and a server showed up out of nowhere with a replacement, (without us even having to ask .
