"Uncomfortable chairs, the ginger had been sitting out way too long when we got it it tasted funny, very high prices compared to other sushi restaurants in the area. Decor was not deserving of the higher prices. The menu was much more limited compared to other sushi restaurants in the area. I love sushi. I've had some very good experiences at surrounding sushi restaurants. I will not be going back in. I recommend finding another place. I have no idea how it got the high star rating. Almost everything on the sushi menu was either baked or deep fried. Service was a little slow."

One of the best sushi spots we have been to. We had the shumai, baked scallop California roll, and sweet honey roll. Perfection!

We heard about this place from 2 different people. The sushi is very delicious one of the best ever.Adnan was our server, he’s very nice, patient and friendly. He gave us some suggestions and all were very good. The place is very clean and bathrooms are very clean. We loved it and definitely will go back later again!

I came all the way from Virginia to get the best sushi in DC area. I do not regret that I made decision to drive for an 1 hour to get lunch here. I am very satisfied with their quality and service. All dishes are so big that are difficult to gulp down; which I love about! Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for very gooooood sushi! View menu

Great sushi! The shrimp was slightly over cooked but everything else was delicious. The place was busy so we had quite a wait. I'd recommend not going during high volume times. Do an early bird dinner or lunch for this place if you don't like waiting. The playboy sushi roll was the best roll I had there. Would highly recommend that one! Service is good. Atmosphere is great!

Food 8/10 Service 10/10 Came in for a quick lunch with a buddy. It was a little busy, but the one server handled the room well while he was also playing host. Miso soup: Hot, flavorful, soothing. Perfect for a cold day. Toro nigiri: Delicious and full of flavor. I think there was a brush sesame oil that elevated it, but hands down tasty. But I was disappointed as it looked like it was cut with a full knife so it wasn 't pretty . If that 's the worst part ... I 'd

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
