"I was there the other day, I like my shawarma without many bells and whistles, I really like the red pickled turnips, a few pickles, Hummus (NO tahinie it's do dominant of a flavor) and a touch of hot sauce. I was disappointed observing no turnips, my #1 condiment. Imagine my surprise when he brought me the sandwich and the welcomed sight of turnips was there, yay!! amazing service, the meat was just right, tangy, fresh and delicious, although not an option on the menu, I asked for a chicken lamb mix and received exactly what I asked for! Calm relaxed atmosphere, simple yet welcoming. Very, very highly recommended!"

The flavor was good, but the pita could have been fresher.

Delicious food and excellent service. I truly felt at home during my visit.

The food is excellent, and the service is quick. It was a bit on the messy side, but that can sometimes be a positive indicator.

Tried the lamb gyro sandwich, and the gyro was interesting— it was not the traditional gyro shaved off of a cylinder of meat. It was like small pieces of lamb sautéed with onion. I didn’t like it as much. View menu

I was honestly surprised by this place; it exceeded my expectations. The labneh and hummus were both fantastic, and the kebab was incredibly delicious, as was the lamb. I would definitely recommend it—10/10!

The soups were also underwhelming. The lentil soup was extremely watery to the point where I couldn't taste any lentils, and the bean soup lacked that freshly prepared flavor. Overall, I wouldn’t choose to come back here.

I took a chicken shawarma in the pit. Not to say that it was super tasty or absolutely inedible . Medium. Just average, nothing outstanding, but if you are hungry and are not far away, then you can eat here. I'd like more sauce inside. View menu

I love this little hole in the wall. I’ve probably eaten here 25 times and I always order the same thing: The falafel sandwich with baba ghanouj and tabouli. Super delicious. Ask them to mix it all together before they put in the sandwich so they don’t pile up the different ingredients in layers. Eat it with hot sauce. Yum!

The hummus and baba ghanoush were quite delicious and had the perfect consistency. However, the baba ghanoush had an artificial garlic flavor that made me suspect it was made with garlic powder rather than fresh garlic. Additionally, the falafels were small, which caused them to soak up a lot of oil. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 out of 5.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
