Smallcakes Cupcakery And Creamery

The man at the counter was incredibly rude when I asked about gluten free options. He made me feel embarrassed to have a food allergy. Is there really flour in the vanilla ice cream? Seems like he just didn’t want to serve me.

I just love SmallCakes. I've been to half a dozen of them across the country. This is probably one of the best. They really have them filled (some locations less so and always have an interesting daily variety. This is my 3rd time through this area, and my 3rd time at this SmallCakes :

LOVE this place! A delicious variety of cupcakes, ice cream, and assorted bakery items! I enjoy trying the different special of the week or month cupcakes. I regret to say that I need to update my review after bringing my cupcakes home. Normally, the cupcakes are filled with delicious flavors like lemon, white cream, or Boston cream. However, the last four I bought were completely empty inside, which left me very disappointed. What's happening over there? They were just little cakes.

Ordered a cake for baby’s first birthday party and went to pick it up to find out they could not make it. They never called to say they could not make the cake either and took the order. Now no cake for a first birthday. Very unprofessional as someone should have called as soon as they knew they could not fill the order due to the baker quitting.

I often stop here and their cupcakes and pup cakes are delicious! Have tried many flavors and they are all good, but the pink chocolate is my favorite. My dog recognizes the containers for her pup bites and will even do his sit command when he sees it. Love your ride through the window! My wife and I are very fond of this establishment. We have been here many times and always had exceptional service. The staff is absolutely fantastic and accommodating. Our only issue is we recently had their amazing Boston Cream Pie Cupcakes, and when we went back for more were told that they were a weekly special and no longer available. We would like them to come back soon. We would come back more often if they were available more frequently.

Cupcakes were not ready at the time they were agreed upon, heck...they weren't even made. Had to go to lunch shopping come back a couple hours later. Cupcakes were ok. Jody, the owner is not good at customer service. Was scooping ice cream right at the front did not even acknowledge us when we walked in to pick up the cupcakes. Had an ugly snarl on his face. I will NEVER go back to this establishment!!! I will have Walmart cupcakes at my next birthday before I come back here!!!

This is the second time I've been overcharged at this restaurant, and I've only visited three times, according to the loyalty punch card I was given. When I called to request a refund on our way out of town, I was told I could probably come back tomorrow, which would take me another 30 minutes round trip... for a "probably." As I was explaining my situation, I was abruptly told that the refund had just been processed and then hung up on. That was extremely unprofessional.
