Soho Japanese Bistro

1st time there and it was amazing! The dish I had was the Happy Dragon sushi!

We absolutely enjoyed our meal! Everything was cooked to perfection. We also ordered sushi, but by the time the waitress delivered it, we were already halfway through our main dishes, so we missed the chance to take a picture of it. However, we did have a bit of an issue with the service, as the waitress never came back to clear the soup and salad bowls or to refill our drinks. On a positive note, the chef was outstanding!

The atmosphere was lovely, and the show was very entertaining. However, perhaps due to my lack of experience, two of my sons' meals were served on the same plate. When it was brought out, it was described as something else entirely. When I inquired about my son's food, they explained that was indeed it. They mentioned that we needed to specify if we wanted the meals separated onto different plates! I’m giving it 3 stars because the food was tasty and the ambiance was beautiful. View menu

We visit this restaurant two or three times a year, and we always have a fantastic experience. The food is delicious, and the staff is consistently friendly. The Mongolian Grill chefs do an excellent job, especially when we bring the kids along, as they tend to enhance the performance aspect. If you're just coming in for sushi, be prepared for a longer wait, as the waitstaff handles both the sushi and grill sides, which can slow things down at times. However, it's definitely worth it to enjoy both the grill and sushi offerings, and their drinks are unique and delightful!

First time eating here. Good place to eat. Made reservations for a party of 12. When we got in the restaurant we waited a couple of minutes before we were seated. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Food was good. I ordered the Yaki Soba with chicken but they ended up giving me beef instead. But since It was very tasty and the beef was cooked perfectly I didn?t complained. The sushi was really good. Best sushi I?ve ever had so far. Sushi was fresh and tasty. The lemonades are okay. Portion of the food is pretty good but food is a bit overpriced. I didn?t like how we were all crowded at the table. Overall it was a cool place.

Dinner last night was awesome!!! Believe it or not, it was my first time at a table side hibachi. I was there to celebrate a birthday for my friend and there was 8 or 9 of us. While waiting on our reservation, a couple of us sat in the bar where I got abottle is sparkling sake and it was really tasty, as in I think it?s what champagne wishes it was. Then came the salad and miso.The soup was great and the salad had the best dressing I?ve ever had on it. I don?t know what dressing Japanese restaurants use,but the one I had last night was the best of any I?ve tried. I went with appetizer of coral eel sushi. We were met with rudeness from the very beginning. The serving sizes wereextremely small! Almost childlike. The servings of rice were small. The servings of vegetables were xtra small. Its like theymade a huge serving for 7 people and split it between 14 people. The rice was so hard that nobody ate it. So they did fix thatby giving those who wanted it a serving from the kitchen.
