"My wife and I have passed this restaurant so many times but have never been here.....So we finally decided to have dinner here and I must say... What an experience! My wife and I are together over 32 years...(She's the Love ?? of my life) and we havebeen to so many restaurants over the years..and SottoVoce is by far one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Fromthe moment we sat down, we felt welcomed and relaxed..and without even viewing a menu...our server explained and describedeverything perfectly...He was warm, friendly, passionate, informative, and very attentive...His service was Top Shelf.. Thefood was outrageous...From the appetizers to the deserts...My wife and I cannot say one negative thing..The food was cooked toperfection..fresh..flavorful..simply delicious..An amazing place and staff.. We look forward to coming back again andagain.Thank you so much"

This is my top choice for dining out! You won't be let down. The menu is superb with fresh ingredients, amazing seasonal specials, and a cozy, relaxed, and welcoming ambiance.

The food was decent, but the menu does not display prices (at least not during Sunday lunch). I'm not sure if the $30 for a pasta dish is the set price, but it may be worth checking before ordering. View menu

If I could give this restaurant more stars, I would. The clams oreganata are fantastic, as was the lasagna, filet of sole, seafood over linguine, oricheitte with sausage and brocoli rabe and the desserts. The staff was great and friendly. Do not skip this place!

I came here for dinner with my boyfriend tonight. He had the pasta bolognese and I ordered the chicken francese. We split the creme brulee for dessert and received complimentary mulled wine one word that sums up our dinner was fantastic!!! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality .

Amazing customer service, fantastic food, and a great location for people watching (if you sit outside). I 'm not sure if he was the owner or a manager, but our server was one of the nicest people I 've ever met, with a genuine excitement to share his happiness of the food with us. When he found out my companion and I are in the restaurant industry, he brought us a tiramisu (one of the best Ive ever had) to enjoy before work. Try the eggplant rollatini, house made lasagne, and if available that day, the cheese 'purses. ' I 'm so happy this is in my neighborhood, I look forward to bringing more friends to check out this local gem. View menu

There’s nowhere better in Park Slope to get an innovative take on traditional Italian food. The wait staff at Sotto Voce is knowledgeable, friendly, and so welcoming to us as neighbors in the community. Their famous tomato dip served complimentary with bread is so delicious, they let you try and guess the “secret ingredient” for a small prize. We couldn’t get it but it hardly mattered bc the dip is so yummy! Pasta dishes and all their special entrees are to die for. And dare I say the best Tiramisu in all of Brooklyn. We came at noon on a Tuesday for lunch and a bottle of Prosecco. It was quiet, and the outdoor seating was peaceful.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
