"I went here for lunch and ordered the vegetarian lunch thali! It came with 1 samosa as appetizer, dal makhani, palak paneer, chana masala, aloo gobhi, naan, plain rice, papad, small bowl or Rita and kheer (rice pudding) for dessert. I liked the fact that Thalis are unlimited. So if you like any dish, you can order more of it for free. The aloo gobhi and dal makhani were delicious. I re-ordered the papad and aloo gobhi. If you are looking for a good Indian satisfying meal with many varieties, do get their thalis during lunch special! I have also tried their vegetarian indo-chinese lunch special. It came with a spring roll as an appetizer, and Veg Manchurian along with veg fried rice. It was very delicious!"

Very dimly lit. Food was meh. Not amazing Indian food by a long stretch. Pricing reflects the quality and feel. So reasonably priced for what it is.

Amazing. Just amazing. Food was great, flavorful and service was top tier. And everything came out quickly and was very fresh. Definitely will be my go to Indian spot in the city.

I changed my reservation three times, and we we're the last party. The attention as always very nice! We all loved the curry butter chicken, and the cauliflower and potato's dish.

Huge thank you to Nasir at the 50th street location! Have been a regular here for a few years and am never disappointed. Great food, great price, and friendly, helpful staff. Can’t wait to go back. View menu

Tiny restaurant with seating room for approximately 30-35 people. Food is decent. They will cheap out on the soda. We ordered two cokes and they poured a single fan into two separate glasses. You are better than this.

Big mistake I didn't order the Tandoori Salmon! NEXT time! Food is spiced to order if you are concerned about too much heat in the food. Portions are generous. Service is attentive. The place is beautiful in my opinion and staff treats everyone as a long lost friend.

Due to the UN being in town, they did not offer the lunch menu, so it was quite pricey for lunch. I didn't think it was worth it. We asked for the lunch menu and they said no, thought they should have given it to the “regulars” upon request. Food was delicious as usual but we weren't looking to spend $100 on lunch. Everything was ala carte even the naan. View menu

Great place for Indian food. I met Prem from a contact in India and found this to be one of the best tasting Indian-IndoChinese cuisines in NYC. They are always hospitable and take great care of their customers. Nisar, his GM has always been great with taking care of me when Prem is not on site. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful and the food it top notch. Highly recommend!

Last minute, My mom I decided to come to this spot out of convenience to our hotel/good reviews and had a pleasant experience. Monji was our server, and he was very helpful in pointing out the best dishes/drinks they had to offer. My only complaint was that we over ordered food and had way too many leftovers. Loved the ambiance of this spot lighting was low relaxing would definitely come back!

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
