"We hosted a large birthday party in the new room. We had not only vegetarians but also lots of issues with super low salt diets and those that just don 't like mushrooms and eggplants etc. etc. Jay, the chef, was BEYOND patient and all the food was fantastic. He even made 3 levels of Chicken Marsala (full salt, low salt and no salt by using two different kinds of Marsala wine). Oh, and the Eggplant Parmesan was amazing. I suspect we are one of those customers that generate kitchen nightmares. Sabrina was fantastic about ideas to accommodate everyone. We had the brunch as well for extra options. Its important to note that many other restaurants charge a $2 cake cutting fee for each guest if you bring in a cake. Spinners does not, they only ask that you provide your own disposable plates. This place has lots of good off street parking which helped since some guests used wheelchairs. The bar drinks were as well priced as the food. Briana was the perfect hostess and made sure everyone got what they ordered and the food came out in good time. The staff was uniformly cheerful and eager to assist. If Jay has not blacklisted us we will certainly be back for future parties."

Our new favorite pizza in Albany. The buffalo chicken is delicious and the harvest salad is as well. This is our new spot any time we’re in the mood for some pizza

The restaurant is quite busy, but the food is absolutely delicious! Occasionally, they host bingo games, trivia nights, and even have a jazz band from Albany High! View menu

My trivia team has played at over a dozen similar pubs in the Capital Region and this is our favorite best food, friendliest service, spacious with good sound! I love Spinners

Our group ordered several large vegan pizzas, and they were generously topped with a delicious assortment of sweets, vegan meat, and cheese. The service was friendly, and the pizza was absolutely fantastic.

This restaurant has a sports bar vibe and offers solid bar food. The pizza had a nicely crispy crust, with cheese that had a good stretch. The sausage was crumbled and packed with flavor, while the onions were thinly sliced and cooked perfectly. However, the pizza roll was a bit overcooked and lacked flavor. View menu

I used to order spinners frequently when I worked at the Jewish center down the street. Overall, they serve really great pizza. We decided to order from them tonight for the first time in a while, and unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. My husband enjoyed his pizza, but the garlic knots were a letdown. They were just hard dough with garlic salt—no fresh garlic or seasonings at all. Despite this, I still rate them 5 stars because their pizza is excellent.

Great vegan finds! This pizza/pub was a nice surprise to find a decent vegan section on their menu! We got the vegan mozzarella sticks (yum! and the vegan buffalo chicken pizza! The pizza was amaaaaazing! The dough/crust was NY style (delicious! and it was fully loaded with vegan cheese “chicken”! We stopped in on a Sunday night sort of late. Service was a tad slow took almost 40 minutes for our food to come out but the food was amazing worthy of the wait so no star deduction there! Staff was friendly! Clean place clean bathrooms!

"We had requested the rounded corner booth in the main dining room and arrived 20 minutes early, planning to enjoy a cocktail at the bar. But instead, we were seated at a booth right next to our preferred one. A couple finished their meal shortly after we sat down, well before our 6:30 reservation. We ordered a Beefeater gin and tonic and a very dry Beefeater martini. Both drinks had an unusual, perfume-like scent that was quite off-putting. My wife sent her drink back, and I decided to switch to a Bombay martini, but the same strange floral fragrance persisted. I regularly enjoy Beefeater and Bombay dry martinis and have never experienced this odd aftertaste before. For my main course, the Duck and Porcini confit ragu had hardly any duck in it. There were only a few shreds of duck meat hidden in the tagliatelle, but no substantial pieces. My wife’s Pesto and Shrimp dish arrived swimming in a broth. While this might be a traditional way to serve it, there was no mention of broth on the menu. She had expected the pesto to be coated on the pasta and oily, rather than soupy. As much as we have loved Capriccio over the past three decades, this experience was disappointing. We didn't even stay for dessert. We'll certainly return, but I hope to avoid writing another negative review. I usually don’t share my thoughts unless absolutely necessary, but I felt compelled to do so this time."
