"We notified the restaurant that we were running slightly late over the phone, and they said that was fine, yet when we arrived, we found that our table had been given away. We were told the wait could be significant for another table; the host would not quote a wait time. This was a celebratory graduation lunch that the Spotted Pig completely ruined. They eventually sat a few of us but not the entire party; the rest had to leave. Once at our table, we waited a long time for each part of our meal, and our waitress could not open our wine bottle, after taking a lengthy amount of time to bring us the wine, and got us all covered in the wax cap. And she brought one too few glasses and never brought out another glass, though we asked."

The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was good, particularly the shoestring French fries. However, the Cuban sandwich was just average. View menu

Lively atmosphere! It's a relaxed spot with attentive service and delicious food! Be sure to try the Parmesan Custard, and of course, the Burger! It's definitely a place you should visit!

Have been to the Spotted Pig many, many items. They still put out a great dish of food, whether its the chicken liver toast or the hamburger. We almost always order a few daily specials, as thats exactly waht they usually rae...special. Keep it going folks.

Over the years it's been open, I've eaten here on a couple of occasions and really want to like the place. Unfortunately I just can't. I get that it's cool and hip and that rock starts hang out here, but that doesn't make it an enjoyable restaurant experience. I guess it's probably fine for a late night burger and a beer, but clearly not much more. The title says it all: I just don't get the hype... View menu

had been waiting to eat here for months now, but didnt want to wait on line so when the opportunity arose to make reservations through opentable we did. we arrived for 6pm dinner 30 minutes early, the hostess was confused that i mentioned we had reservation, since they usually dont take them. she was polite and we were seated early on the second floor in the corner by the window. Seating consisted of small wooden stools, which were comfortable. the waiter helped us choose 2 delicious cocktails and was attentive for the entire night. chicken liver toast was as great as people say, the burger was good too. overall a great experience, but a bit overpriced.

We ordered the Pork Rillette, Arctic Char, radish salad, and pickled vegetables, and I have to say, the Char was definitely the highlight of the meal. Overall, everything was excellent. The radish salad was particularly impressive and could really change someone’s perception of radishes. We visited for lunch, and although the restaurant was only about half full, we experienced a longer wait to place our order than I anticipated. The co-ed bathroom caught me off guard, probably a sign of my age, but the soap was fantastic. We both agreed that we would return and would recommend it to others. They should definitely keep that Char on the menu; it was incredible, and the sauce paired with it was...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
