"Let’s be clear – this isn’t a fancy restaurant with a romantic atmosphere, but what they offer is fresh, flavorful food with exceptional quality and spice levels. When I first dined here about eight months ago, I almost drove away, but thankfully I stayed. I discovered a spot where the focus is solely on the food, rather than the restaurant's décor. During that first visit, we tried their naan, chicken biryani, beef kofta, and beef kebabs, and I can honestly say it was a delightful experience from the very first bite to the last. Since moving to Southern Illinois, we've explored Devon Street in Chicago, dining at places like Usmania, Sabri Nehari, and Tahoora, but I've never tasted food as amazing as what we enjoy at Baba's restaurant. On our most recent visit yesterday, we sampled goat paya, haleem with goat meat, naan, and more chicken biryani, and everything was simply out of this world. The taste is consistently fantastic, and the staff is always friendly. We usually go there to pick up meat since it also operates as a grocery store, but we always end up dining in. If you’re looking for a spot to enjoy Indian/Pakistani cuisine, this is it. They’ve even set up tables and chairs in a separate room to create a nicer atmosphere, but honestly, I’ll take great food over a beautifully decorated place any day. If you’re ever in St. Louis, you must stop by and try their food. They’re also planning to start a buffet and offer halwa/puri breakfast on weekends."

This restaurant offers the best food in St. Louis! The biryani is delicious, the curries are fantastic, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. My friend and I go at least once a week. The food is absolutely delicious and mouthwatering. It’s a must-try! Trust me!

Taste of Pakistan in far away Missouri. Ordered Chicken Dum Biryani, Seekh Kabab, Chicken roll. The taste was better than major indian restaurants in missouri. The service was good, the owner was friendly. The store has mini pakistani store as well. I would recommend for all desi eaters.

Amazing customer service and delicious food! I had a dinner recently, and everybody was pissing off. We had a tablet of Pakistani style chicken biryani, goats Karahi, chicken Karahi and Rosmalai for desert. I ordered last minute, two days before dinner and uncle? was very friendly to help me a menu of items that could be made on so short term. *most important* my family doesn?t always goat Karahi because of a?gamey enjoy? Smell, but Stl Halal meat goats have no smell, so it was swallowed in minutes!

Wanted to drop in a few words of appreciation.... Hosting an event at STL Baba?s Restaurant was one of best decisions we made. Our family was truly satisfied with the entire presentation. The food was delicious and exceptional! The service was excellent. The staff were very kind, courteous and efficient. The hall set-up was beautiful and well-organized. It made the flow very smooth. And not to forget the input and generosity of the owners. They went out of their way to make our event more memorable. Having the event at this venue made it so comfortable, not only for the guests, but also for us hosts. Thank you very much! Good choice of venue and menu!
